Beautiful place to stay. Really enjoyed our second stay here. Rooms are lovely with some modern touches to a historical property, and are a good size from our experience. Breakfast is included which is a bonus. It was however just a continental sryle this time which was quite adequate, but a step down from the eggs benny and waffles cooked last time. Will definitely consider a 3rd stay soon !

Such a beautiful property. Lovely staff. Rooms are modern. Great artwork. Close to many great New Town restaurants and cafes.

The property was fantastic however there’s plenty of room for improvement! some more art on the walls in the rooms would be a good improvement.
some ability to play some music would be a bonus also. just needs a bit more colour & personally added to the rooms & it will be another level👍

Maylands was a stunning last minute find for us, filled with history. The building itself is just spectacular, perched on top of the hill, with views all around. Inside, the hallways and staircase keep their original form - well kept and decorated. The rooms are truely modern, with all the comforts of home. Gas log fire, air conditioner, huge smart TV, bluetooth speaker, and a bathroom worthy of writing home about with the giant tub and frosted glass walls. Around the building you'll find a few quiet corners with couches or chairs, just adding to the ambience of this cosy space.
