The hotel is located in a very convenient spot, right near ferry & bus options and walking distance to Salamanca Markets and the CBD. The hotel was beautifully maintained and very interesting with artwork from local artists on the walls. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The Henry Jones hotel is a lovely place to spend your days in Hobart. The rooms are large and have a nice view of the harbor. The staff is friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay here again if in Hobart.

Staff are the best. Location is perfect. Rooms and hotel decor ultra modern but centred on its history as the IXL jam factory. Original artworks throughout rooms and public spaces are a big feature. All seems for sale - a lot of variation in styles. Get the included breakfast - it was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. The on site Lanscapes restaurant is incredible ($ but worth it) - book before you arrive or you might miss out). Staying at HJ was one of the best parts of our stay in Tasmania. We chose well.
