You’ll find our oasis of well-being right in the heart of the Vulkaneifel, in Hohenfels-Essingen. The entire property is lovingly furnished and reserved exclusively for our guests. Surrounded by nature and numerous hiking trails, it offers the ideal starting point for discovering the beauty of the Eifel with its many attractions.

The family-friendly town of Hohenfels-Essingen is located in the heart of the scenic Vulkaneifel. Particularly popular are the nearby basalt quarries and the historic Mühlstein Caves.

Other highlights include Pelmer Kasselburg, home to a very well-preserved castle featuring birds of prey and wolves. At the Daun Wildlife and Adventure Park, you can take an 8-kilometer safari tour in your own car. A large playground for children and a 6-hectare monkey enclosure are also part of the park.

There are many beautiful hiking and biking trails in the Eifel. We recommend the “Komoot” app, where you’ll find a wide variety of pre-planned and customisable hiking routes. From Oberbettingen and Gerolstein, you have access to Germany’s extensive rail network.

We are a rental service in the Eifel region and support our hosts in accommodating our guests. After your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive a booking confirmation with a link to our digital travel guide. There you’ll find our personal recommendations for restaurants, hiking and recreational activities, and lots of other useful information about your accommodation. No later than three days before your arrival, we’ll send you a personalised code for self-check-in via smart lock. If you have any questions before or during your stay, we’re always here to help.
House Rules:

1. Inventory and Damage

We ask that you treat our inventory with care and return used dishes to the cabinets only when they are clean and dry. Damage to furniture and furnishings can happen and is often easily repaired. Please notify us immediately of any damage that occurs.

2. Noise Levels and Quiet Hours

Please be considerate of our neighbors and keep noise levels in the holiday rental at a reasonable volume, especially when playing music or watching TV. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM.

3. Visitors

Your visitors are welcome in our holiday rental at any time for short periods. However, it is not permitted to allow unregistered guests to stay overnight in the holiday rental. If the number of guests changes, please inform us in a timely manner so that we can prepare the holiday rental accordingly.

4. Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the entire property.
Smoking is only permitted in the fully open outdoor area. Please keep doors and windows closed so that no smoke drifts into the house.
If a smoke odour does develop in the holiday rental, we will have to charge you for the resulting special cleaning costs (e.g., ozone treatment).

5. Pets

Pets are welcome in our holiday rental. The number is limited to a maximum of 2. Please note, however, that you must report any damage caused by your pet to us.

6. Security and Valuables

Always close all windows and the front door before leaving the holiday rental, and be sure to turn off all electronic devices. We assume no liability for the loss of valuables during your stay.

7. Cleaning

A thorough final cleaning of the holiday rental will be performed by our cleaning service after your departure, as agreed. However, we ask that you clean up any major messes in advance and leave the apartment swept clean upon departure.

8. Environment

We care about the environment, and we hope you do too. Therefore, please turn off the lights and all electronic devices when they are not in use. Conserving water also helps the environment. Thank you.
