The location is convenient, however, there were several important issues during and after our stay that future guests should be aware of.
During our 12-day stay, nearby construction caused road closures on at least four separate days, making access to the apartment difficult at times. This was disruptive and not communicated in advance.
On arrival, we noticed the refrigerator was leaking, with visible water on the kitchen floor. The downstairs area was extremely hot, and without air conditioning it was not realistically usable unless the back door was kept open. Unfortunately, the back door has no insect screen, which resulted in a significant mosquito issue. Fans alone were not sufficient to make the space comfortable.
Regarding linens, four bath towels were provided, of which we used only one. An oil stain was later discovered. Additional towels were delivered promptly by the house manag; although they still had tags attached, they were visibly yellowed from long-term storage.
After checkout, the host requested USD 1,500 in compensation, alleging damage to a grey bedsheet and wall marks. These issues were not raised during the stay and were not apparent to us at checkout. The property was used normally and with care, and these claims appeared to relate to wear, pre-existing conditions, or issues not caused by guest misuse.
Based on our experience, future guests are strongly advised to carefully inspect and document all aspects of the property at check-in and check-out.
