Welcome to Sand DollarCottage! Beautifully decorated with your own private heated pool plus large covered ground floor lanai. You will be steps to the beach with access point at the end of our road. We supply everything you'll need for an easy beach vacation. Beach towels, beach trolly, chairs, umbrellas and a cooler bag! All you'll need is your swimsuit.

Our property includes membership to The Center of Anna Maria Island. This membership allows our guests access to pickleball, tennis, fitness center and wellness classes including yoga. There is also access ( may be additional costs ) to kids camps and concerts. Feel free to ask us more about our membership.

We strive to bring only the best quality experience to our guests, to do so we provide a professional linen service to better enhance your enjoyment while staying here. This luxury amenity provides you high quality linens that are in place and ready for your use upon arrival. These high- quality linens are laundered in a commercial setting that uses only hypoallergenic, perfume and dye free soaps assuring all of our guests a comfortable stay.

We think of the little things to make your vacation special. All linens are provided including sheets, bath towels, kitchen towels, and pool towels.

Sand Dollar Cottage is in a great location centrally located on Anna Maria Island. Walking distance to shops and restaurants yet nestled just off of the main road.

Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectable level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property.

What makes this property so special is its very close direct beach access to the idyllic soft white sand of the Gulf beaches and breathtaking sunsets. A peaceful neighborhood, walking distance to restaurants and shops. Free island trolly bus stop just around the corner. Onsite parking makes it easy to unload.

Both units have private yard and pool but fences can be opened to share the property. This allows you to be as together as you may like while still having your privacy

If you enjoy outdoor cooking there is a Webber gas BBQ / grill as well. ***Please note that although we have a scheduled time for filling bbq propane tanks, we cannot guarantee they will be full upon your arrival. Please check tanks if you plan to use the bbq and if they require a fill the local grocery store and hardware store will fill them. Our staff is unable to deal with the tanks. We will reimburse you for fills if needed.

I can not say enough good things about this place. The location was perfect. Very short walk to the beach and plenty of places to eat nearby. The house was very clean and well kept and the owner was always quick to respond if we needed them. 10/10 will stay here again.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this duplex. Both times have been excellent. It is modern up-to-date and very clean. The pool is small but refreshing. Block and a half from the beach. Beach supplies located on the first level. Highly recommended.

Family beach trip

This property was perfect for our family of four. We will definitely stay here again when we return to A.M.I. I was worried about how far away it was from the beach but it really is an extremely short walk. Owners were extremely easy to get in touch with before we arrived. We loved it!

Loved our stay!

The location of this property was perfect for our small family, we have a 5 and 7 year old. The walk to the beach was very convenient! The pool area was enjoyable, just enough sun and shade both for everyone’s comfort level. The pool depth seemed to be around 4.5-5 fr deep and perfect for our kids. The house was very clean and welcoming with zero complaints. This home qualifies for the list of properties that can be booked for future visits!

Great location, but needs a working grill

Wonderful vacation home with a great location to beach! Only complaint is the grill is basically non-working. We tried three times to use and ALL three times we ended up using the oven. With it being Spring Break and restaurants so busy we had decided to grill out a lot. We tried, but the grill is old, greasy, smelly and just does not work. More beach towel would have been nice too.

Absolutely Perfect!!

This was the absolutely perfect place for our family of 4 to stay on our first trip to AMI. It was spotless upon arrival and Carolyn was wonderful to work with. She was quick to respond and so helpful with any question I had. It was nicely updated with high end furnishings. It included everything we needed, including beach towels and a closet full of beach accessories. The full size washer and dryer was so nice and the pantry was so big and a wonderful bonus! The house had plenty of storage for everything we brought. The pool and lanai area was absolutely amazing and beautifully decorated and landscaped. It was our favorite part! The location of the house was perfect. It was a nice quiet street in a very nice neighborhood. You did not have to cross any of the busy streets to get to the beach. The beach access was directly at the end of the street, not even 2 blocks away. It was close enough to the main part of town that you could get to Pine street or Manatee Beach in just a couple minutes via golf cart. It was close enough to everything, but just far enough to not be too busy. It was very private and did not seem like a duplex at all. I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone and we would definitely stay again.

The reviews of the property are exactly correct. Clean and tidy, well decorated, newly renovated. Proximity to the beach is amazing and absolutely a highlight of the property. We loved the pool and shaded dining area. Our 7 year old swam every day! The property owner/manager is attentive and responsive helping with a minor dishwasher issue we experienced almost immediately. We will absolutely be back and will stay at this same property again. Stop looking, you’ve found the best.

Fabulous rental property near the beach

The property was very clean with contemporary decor. The kitchen and bathrooms were updated with luxurious finishes. The private pool on the property was a definite plus and our 3 yr old granddaughter preferred it over the beach. The owner was very responsive to all our needs. Oh yes and the beach was a 2 min walk. Would definitely rent again.

Absolutely prime rental!

We stayed at the Sand Dollar Cottage for a month in Feb/Mar 2022 and were delighted with this property. It was spotlessly clean upon arrival and beautifully decorated. The backyard pool and surroundings are a little bit of paradise! It is a very short walk to the beach and one block from the free trollley stop. The beds were very comfortable and having two bathrooms is a great plus. The kitchen has beautiful stainless steel appliances with an ice maker and plenty of cooking supplies. Carolyn is a delight to communicate with and makes sure her guests are comfortable with everything. I would not hesitate to recommend this property!

What a gem!

We loved this property - it's updated, spotlessly clean, and the best location on the island. One block to the beach and walking distance to restaurants, shops, groceries, etc. The space is perfect for a couple or small family. The pool is a gem. The owner is so personable and responsive, and supplies great beach gear. While the condo shares a wall with another, we didn't hear a peep and the neighborhood is also very quiet. The weather can be cool and windy in early February, but the clear sunny days can't be beat!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Sand Dollar Cottage. Property was as described, clean and well equipped for our visit (even had a pack and play and blender for smoothies). Our little one LOVED the pool, the covered shallow portion was perfect for her to splash and play in. It's just minutes from the beach and the wagon/chair/toys were so convenient. We enjoyed riding the trolley (stop just 1 block away) and rented bikes to ride around the north side of the island.
