Stayed here one night enroute to Dublin. Checked in after 21.30 when there was no staff present. Easy enough as they left a note for us outlining the codes and to do's. Lovely view in our room. The building is old but room was very clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast is not continental but it's ok (cereals, milk, yogurt, fruit, juice...) There isnt much to do around the area so I would say it's ok for a overnight stay.

Es sollte darauf hingewiesen werden, daß es KEINEN Restaurantbetrieb, lediglich die Bar offen ist. Das includierte Frühstück besteht aus Obst, Cerealien, Milch, Keksen, verpackten Schokobrötchen, Orangenmarmelade und Joghurt in Selbstbedienung und erreicht geringe Erwartungen kaum. Weder Toast noch Wurst oder Käse sind erhältlich. Gegessen werden kann auf dem Bett, ein Speiseraum ist nicht vorhanden bzw nicht ausgewiesen.

We had a great nights stay here. Please don’t be put off by some of the reviews. The room was clean and spacious. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Comfy bed and plenty of pillows! It’s a great base to explore the local area. The host was very friendly and the bar was perfect for grabbing a drink and sitting outside in the sunshine with it.

The Anchorage Hotel, was easy to find, parking was good, room was clean, spacious and comfortable beds. There was a grass area behind accommodation which was handy to take my dog to relieve herself. There was a bar lounge in main building that was open from 4pm, unfortunately I did not make use of the bar facilities. There was no restaurant facilities during our stay and the breakfast was a help yourself area on the ground floor of the accommodation block. It was well stocked with a variety of small cereal boxes, fresh fruit bowl, individual wrapped pastries and a fridge with milk and a selection of yoghurts. If you prefer a cooked breakfast there is a small cafe behind the Spar store.
