This newer built luxury home is located on the beautiful West Shore of Lake Tahoe, within a few hundred yards of Homewood Ski Resort and a VERY SHORT walk to the beach, bike trail, and West Shore Wedding Venue. We are told our home is the perfect wedding day gather get ready spot. The ultimate ski/bike/hiking retreat. Approximately 1000 more square footage then other vacation rentals in our area.

This four bedroom mountain style home has the feel of Tahoe luxury. The Entry level includes an open spacious great room with grand
windows that bring the outdoors inside. It has spacious gourmet
kitchen with enough room for many cooks and plenty of room for
seated spectators. Its dinning room will seat 8-10 people. The spacious living room has a Corner fireplace that has stone from floor to ceiling, and vaulted wood ceilings that gives you the mountain feel that appeal to many. Also located on this level is the main bedroom suite and master bathroom with jacuzzi tub. The lower level offers a SECOND MASTER SUITE with private bath, two additional bedrooms, pool table room that connects to lower deck and a comfortable large entertainment room with 72" flat screen tv with surround sound system

The house is spacious and generally as described in the listing. It comfortably accommodated two families, with plenty of room to relax and sleep, and the layout worked well for a larger group.The host was responsive prior to our stay, but communication during the stay was slower than expected when issues arose.We encountered two main issues during our stay:1. The smart TV was not able to stream Netflix, and the TVs in the house are older models. We reached out to the host to ask whether streaming was supported and how to access it, but did not receive a clear resolution.2. From the first night, the three carbon monoxide detectors on the ground floor emitted periodic beeping, likely indicating low batteries or end-of-life warnings. This was disruptive during sleep. We reported this to the host on the first night, but the issue was not resolved during our stay or afterward.Overall, the home has good space and potential, but responsiveness during the stay and timely resolution of maintenance issues could be improved.

A GREAT HOME

The property owner is easy to contact and is responsive.This home is beautiful. We’ve rented MANY homes along the West Shore over 20 years. This home is in the top 2. The finish carpentry work displays the pride of ownership.My wife has limited mobility on stairs, having a first floor en-suite was great. All beds were relaxing. Neighborhood is quiet. Pool table was fun. Entertainment room was cool.Loved the fact afternoon sun was not on living areas. Our family completely enjoyed this home. Thank you Cheryl for the pride you have in your home.

Great house & location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Homewood. Easy access to Palisades, Truckee, Tahoe City and the lake just at the bottom of the road. The West Shore Market is 8 mins away and has (almost) everything you need for groceries. House was clean and has two primary suites- great setup for two families.

Great location, spacious house

The house is walkable to Dockside/Obexers in the summer and to Homewood in winter. Very spacious house, 3 living areas, 2 decks, 4 large bedrooms. We enjoyed our stay- wish the wifi was stronger but the location and the house makes up for that one thing.

A great home for multi-generational groups or families. Our group was 6 adults and 3 kids. Kitchen is well appointed and frig is plenty big for a group. Beds/Linens comfortable. Within walking distance to boat launch at Obexer's. Down stairs has huge media/game room - allowing kid-dedicated space, if wanted. Back deck is great in the morning for coffee and dining in the evening. Owner was responsive to our needs. Only challenge - no cell service at the house or out on street.

Great location

Wonderful home. Loved eating and reading on the back deck. Being in the trees is wonderful. Loved how close it was to jump on the bike trail. Cheryl the manager was an amazing communicator. We have rented many places on the lake but have never had a manager get back to us so quickly and take care of any challenges right away. Definitely will stay here again.

A Walk from Homewood

We had a blast during our stay. We were a group of three families with little kids. This house is comfortable for groups: large kitchen open to the living area so we could cook and hangout while the kids played. Pool table and second living room downstairs were great places to hangout. And make sure everyone had some space. One heads up, there is no streaming on the TV but does have a DVD player. We rented a movie for the kids one night from the Redbox at the local Safeway which worked out great. Side note, this was our groups preference to have the kids watch the TV rather than a computer/tablet. The house is walking distance to Homewood resort (5 min!). A pleasant surprise is the house is on a dead end street. So, the kids could go outside and play in the snow without worrying about cars.

Nice Property in Lake Tahoe

This place is awesome place for getting together with friends and kids. It's very cozy to enjoy coffee in the morning and couple drinks at night and very roomy for kids to play around with provided toys and games in the house. Host, Cheryl is very reasonable person who could bend the rule a bit to make sure customer satisfaction.

Property nice and as descibed on the listing. Location is ok, not much around other than houses and nearest stores and restaurants are a bit of driving away. The place was tidy but not not clean. There is a big difference between clean and just tidy. How do I know it? We are of culture in which it is customary to take our shoes off while in the house, so 10+ of us looking at each others blackenned socks told us that cleaning is done superficially. There was more evidence for lack of cleaning in the bathrooms,

Wonderful House and Host

We organized a family ski trip to the Tahoe area for the first time and are so pleased we found this beautiful property. The description doesn't do it justice. There was plenty of room for our extended family and the kitchen was very well equiped for our home cooked meals. A big plus during our stay was the location. It was a short walk to the South base of Homewood (even in ski boots) so we didn't have to drive other than going to Tahoe City for supplies. A major snow storm hit during our visit but we had no issues getting out becase they clear the access road that serves the South base. Also, having a garage was a major benefit so we didn't have to shovel out or scrape windshields. The host is excellent and provided clear communication ahead of our visit as well as answered questions promptly during our stay. I only wish we had discovered this place years ago. Highly recommend.
