Designed for Hollywood actor Shephard Houghton in 1984, this retreat blends vintage Boho charm with modern comforts. Sip coffee on expansive decks with breathtaking canal views, soak in the 6-person hot tub, or cozy up by the woodstove in winter. Perfect for families, couples, or friends seeking adventure and relaxation.

The Space:

Unforgettable Views: Nearly every room overlooks the serene Hood Canal, with harbor seals basking nearby.

Sleep in Comfort: Sleeps up to 8 with a king bedroom (2nd floor), queen bedroom with en-suite shower (2nd floor), loft with 4 twin beds (3rd floor, spiral staircase), and ground-floor queen bedroom. Note: The loft and game room couch/loveseat (bring your own bedding) have limited privacy.

Modern Kitchen: Cook with canal views in the spacious kitchen, featuring a large island, dishwasher, Keurig/drip coffee (pods provided), and gas BBQ grill.

Bathrooms: En-suite shower (2nd floor queen bedroom), bathtub/shower (hallway), two 1/2 baths (living room, ground floor).

From the county park, the beach can be accessed down a small rocky slope. The beaches to the north and south of the county park are private and clearly marked. Please be mindful to respect the boundaries of our beachfront neighbors. Please note, during high tide, the beach is fully covered and cannot be accessed.
