Great location in the old town in the capital far from the tourist resorts but all the better for it some nights I think I was the only person staying there but in the evenings it was lively with locals having food and drink rooms are basic breakfast is simple, but the price was good

If you appreciate accommodation with genuine traditional character, this is the place for you. It’s beautifully maintained and feels very special. The staff are a delight—always smiling and helpful. Séjour tout à fait convenable , bon rapport qualité prix , petit bémol sur le petit déjeuner « continental » qui ne l’est vraiment pas du tout , le bruit également car l’isolation n’existe pas , c’est propre à la ville en elle même à mon humble avis . It was in a good location, the staff quite friendly. But in 1 week my room was not cleaned once, and the towels only changed once (only because I asked!). The new towel had a huge hole in it! The air conditioning worked well, except that it continually blew dust onto the bed which I had to wipe off every evening. After 5 nights the water refused to drain from the shower, which meant I was stepping into used water for the last 2 nights! Fortunately the hotel served alcohol in the very nice internal courtyard. I would not stay here again because of the room problems mentioned above! Yes, I know it is Tunisia and only in my opinion a 2 star hotel, but I was still disappointed!
