Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Upon arrival, we noticed that there was a huge pile of old chairs and tables sitting beside the hotel at the dumpster and we assumed that there had been renovations. Not the case. The man that checked us in said they’d been sitting there at least six months. Gross.We checked in and went to our room, and the smell was horrible! Like a thousand old ashtrays! Went back to the front and the guy didn’t believe me and went to smell for himself. He of course “didn’t smell anything” but took us next door, which smelled better, and said we could change to that room, but only after we promised that we didn’t put anything in the trash in the old stinky room! We weren’t even in the room more that 3 minutes!
Fast forward to the evening…. Luckily my friends had already changed into pajamas and I was about to step into the shower when the door suddenly opened and two men were standing there as surprised as we were! They had been assigned to our room!
Another complaint is there was literally no ice in the entire hotel! How can a hotel have no ice?!
As I was checking out the next morning, I stopped to complain to the guy that checked us in about being barged in on, and he was not even a little sorry for his mistake in not changing our room number in the system! Just said “hmm, really?” Yes really.I do NOT recommend this hotel!
