Disliked: Cleanliness
The place was not cleaned before I arrived. There was dust everywhere, even on the baseboards. Crumbs and dust from previous tenants under the love seat in the living room. Under the sofa looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned under in weeks. Parking was NOT easy. The gate didn’t have a key fab to open it so, I had to get out my car to get out and to come in the gate. The keypad wasn’t in working order on the interior of the gate so I had to use the one on the outside of the gate to get in and out. That wasn’t fun at all. The refrigerator was leaking water from the bottom after inspecting there was a huge chunk of ice in the freeze at the bottom which was the cause. That freezer hadn’t been thawed or cleaned in months. There was no hand soap in the master bathroom even though there was a dispenser for it. The washing machine was TERRIBLE! Rusty and mildewy smelling. You can smell it when you walk thru the front door. I reached out to the host and instead of him apologizing for the issues he was trying more so to prove that the house had been cleaned to “standard” the day I arrived, which is impossible due to what I walked into. There were rodent traps in the laundry. The water pressure in the first floor bedroom bathroom was just trickling out due to the shower head being full of grime preventing the water from coming out. There were rodent traps in the laundry and master with roaches on them. Nasty! The only plus was it was central to everything and the beds were comfy & clean.
