Restaurants and bars are within walking distance, and a convenience store is just a 1-minute walk away. The home is also close to light rail stops, with convenient freeway access and easy Uber/Lyft availability.

The host provided clear instructions on how to get in and out. The room was as expected, and it was nice having the mini fridge and microwave. A couple of downsides: (1) the ceiling fan was making a fairly loud squeaking noise, so be careful if you're sensitive to sound and also want the ceiling fan on; (2) the shower water would not get hot, it would only get to slightly below body temp, so it felt cool, but not frigid cold.

Cheap and close to areas. Listing shows a gym-there is a cross fit gym across the street but not on site. Other renters may be upstairs in other rooms. Overall cheap and easy with everything needed. No TV in room but not a big deal if you plan to only sleep and shower in the room and do other things.
