Room was clean and well furnished. Fitness room was adequate. Nice coffee machine in the lobby and water machines in the hallway on each floor. Place felt secure as the exterior doors required keycard for access. Bed was a bit soft for my liking but it was ok. I like th curtains blocked out the daylight. Close access to the metro rail and plenty of parking garages and restaurants in the area.

Check-in and in/out flow was offbeat, but the suite room was spacious, crisply clean, and beautifully decorated and appointed. Convenience to downtown activities and restaurants was awesome, the lobby was a great meeting and relaxation spot, and 24/7 Americanos were better than any morning buffet or snacks.

Sad to say but our stay didn’t turn out the way we had hoped. We requested for housekeeping two days in a roll and they failed to provide basic housekeeping services because no housekeeper attended to the room even after we complained. However, we do had to give credit to Brandon, the manager for coming to our room to removed the trash after we personally brought it to his attention about the lack of housekeeping services. So to Brandon, we appreciate you!! Also, the water in the bathroom sink had a fishy smell while brushing your teeth or face, absolutely disgusting to say the least. We made the complain to the maintenance guy who had also acknowledged the fishy smell in the bathroom and he told us he was gonna check to see where the problem was coming from and get back to us but to no surprise we never saw him again. So the problem never got fixed or resolved. Unfortunately, I can’t say that I would recommend The Rusk House or stay here again.

Great staff, nice amenities, super clean. Only minus was the lack of pool, and the sofa bed was uncomfortable. Comfortable as a sofa, but not as a bed.
