I never early checked out but it happen anyways
We'll I made a reservation for 2 night stay and as I left and returned for my second night. Housekeeping entered my room and cleaned and picked up my property because apparently someone checked out using my room number and I got early check out. Most of my property was returned except for my bags of chips (3), bottle of water in the fridge and my phone charger. Housekeeping brought my stuff back but just to make me aware I was checked out early and had to make a whole new reservation.......which I never got any type of warning or message about my "early check out". I had to make a whole new reservation and hope that I do get a reimbursement of my original reservation.

We don’t know bc we tried to contact the given phone number for this hotel and asked we could be transferred to a sister hotel closer to the actual airport we were flying from (acknowledging that I screwed up). With that being said… what I have a hard with is the girl from this specific hotel told me to call Expedia bc they are the ones that can issue a full refund since it hadn’t been processed yet. They just needed to contact her. Suddenly, the story changed and it would never be allowed anyway. Fine. But tell me before I have spent an hour on the phone trying to fix it and transfer the points/night to a closer hotel. I get the rules… (Totally fine- I get that but do not lie to me and tell me about your “credit” meaning you can change the date but that is it!) Have the balls today you are non- compassionate are unforgiving instead of stringing people along. Choice Hotels 👎👎👎
