Peaceful Shores Cabin is a 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom riverfront vacation home offering everything you need for a relaxing getaway on the beautiful Apple River Flowage in Amery, Wisconsin—just a short drive from the Twin Cities.

The cabin comfortably accommodates families and groups with one king bed, two queen beds, two full-over-full bunk beds (four full beds), and a crib. There are two full bathrooms, including one with a walk-in shower and one with a shower/tub combination.

Located on the widest portion of the Apple River Flowage (approximately 600 yards wide), Peaceful Shores Cabin offers a private dock for your boat and endless opportunities to enjoy the water. Guests have complimentary use of a canoe, paddle boat, two paddleboards, five adult kayaks, and two youth kayaks. Spend your days fishing from the dock, paddling the peaceful waters, watching wildlife, or simply relaxing and taking in the beautiful river views.

Fishing enthusiasts can expect to catch Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Muskie, and Northern Pike throughout the year, whether fishing from the dock in the summer or ice fishing during the winter months.

Outside, you'll find an expanded patio with a fire pit, a screened gazebo perfect for birdwatching and sunsets, a hammock, and plenty of space for yard games and family fun.

Please note: The neighboring property has a friendly dog who may occasionally wander onto the property.

Inside, kids will love the loft play area featuring toys, board games, puzzles, and a foosball table, while guests of all ages can enjoy our extensive DVD collection, games, and comfortable gathering spaces.

The cabin is conveniently located near miles of ATV, hiking, biking, and snowmobile trails, including the Cattail State Trail. We also offer ample parking for ATVs, trailers, and snowmobiles. Nearby Amery offers grocery stores, restaurants, an ice cream shop, a farmers market, specialty shops, and a public swimming beach just a short drive away.

Once again this property shone brightly for our family vacation. The owners prepared everything perfectly, from the vast assortment of kid toys and play spaces in the loft, to the ample supplies, to the awesome open main floor area, to the patios, lawn and dock. The place was very clean. The kayaks were a big hit with grandsons. Fishing was okay but the river does have a lot of weeds. We had everything we needed to stay. Washer and dryer was a big plus. Overall very pleased and we had a good time.

Fabulous Property

We enjoyed a long weekend with family at Peaceful Shores. It was clean, comfortable, and very easy to feel at home. The toys were a special treat for the kids and the windows overlooking the Apple River were perfect for watching the sunsets.

Great fishing

Very clean and plenty of fish to catch. If you want a very quiet cabin and local area this is the one for you. river was a little too green with duckweed and plants to enjoy kayaking. Family enjoyed the camp fires at night.
