Double booked!
Property was double booked so when we arrived, at 8pm as discussed someone was already in our 2 bed apartment! After ringing the owner we were offered hotel accommodation a 20 min drive from hunstanton for our first night, which short of driving the 2 hours back home to Leicester we accepted. This then incurred extra expense as we had to eat in the restaurant as obviously there were no facilities for cooking. The following morning we were then offered an alternative downstairs apartment in the same building as the 2 bed which we could access around lunchtime the property was a 1 bedroom not the 2 bedroom we had booked. The boiler didnt work the whole time we were there constantly having to reset every 30 mins, also the toilet wouldn't flush on the final morning of our stay. Disappointing on the whole as we hadnt booked through vrbo before, and certainly not the new years weekend we had planned for a treat! Even more disappointed that the owner had assured us that she would be in contact with the property manager on 2nd jan and to leave it with her, i have since discovered the issue wasnt raised at all with vrbo or possibly anyone.
