The Day Chalet is our beautiful home located conveniently minutes away from Downtown Huntsville & 5 Points. This serene property sits on a beautiful lot with tall mature trees that change colors with the season. Wake up feeling relaxed and have a cup of hot brewed coffee to start your vacation off right gazing out towards the beauty of mother nature or have a glass of wine and BBQ in the back yard. This home has lots to offer and is perfect for travelers for pleasure or for work!

This home has everything you will need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Equipped with AT&T Fiber Internet with speeds up to 1000 MBPS, you can work from home or relax on the couch and stream your favorite TV shows on the 75" Smart TVs. Kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, silverware, and more for you to make a delicious home cooked meal. Stay with us with peace of mind as we have taken extra precautions and adopted enhanced cleaning procedures in our fight against COVID-19

Falling apart, oven broken, large cockroaches property
First of all a week before our trip I was told this house listed, that I rented months ago, was no longer available . Was given a list of 4 other houses to pick from. The one we chose had nothing but problems. Got there when we said we would and couldn't get in. When we finally got in, the house hadn't been cleaned or the wash finished and beds weren't made. Had to wait a couple of hours for cleaners to finish. There was an Orkin pest control guy there when we arrived who wanted to spray the inside of the house for ants and roaches. Told him didn't want to sleep with spray in the bedrooms. The oven didn't work at all. Couldn't cook the food we purchased at the store. Found a huge cockroach in the bedroom. Walls were peeling, fire alarm dangling from the ceiling,airhockey table didn't work, sink in 1/2 bath barely ran. Wifi was spotty. Only decent thing was beds were fairly comfortable. Do not rent this property or from this company.

An ok stay in an otherwise beautiful home.
The property itself was very nice. The house is beautiful. The bathrooms were nice and spacious. Definitely not handicapped accessible due to the steep stairs in front and rough trail in the back. It definitely had some cosmetic issues that should have been repaired prior to anyone arriving. The blinds on the back door was raggedy, the stove on the inside had food stained and stuck to the bottom of the oven, there was a brick holding up the queen bed downstairs, a lot of the cabinets don't close and the door handle on the master bedroom door was loose.

Neat place with good location, poor communication and needed cleaning.
Overall not too bad. The good was: -plenty of space with a big dining area and two separate TV areas. -Great location for less than 20 min drive to most things -Check in/out was confusing because there was no instruction, but we just showed up and then left when done so it was easy enough I guess. -Grill on back patio had gas and was usable, but no grill utensils so that made things interesting. -wifi/internet is blazing fast The bad: -Silverware and cooking amenities were pretty scarce/poor quality but doable. -Beds and pillows are super uncomfortable, made for very tired adults trying to deal with the kids on this trip. -The backyard has so much potential, but is basically left to be overgrown and awkward with haphazard cinder blocks and dirt patch. -The floors inside were so dirty it would turn our socks/feet black. -The shower door in the main bath upstairs isn't level so it won't stay closed when showering. -Instead of rugs in the bathroom for the shower, there are these weird cutting board like planks that get slippery when wet...not sure what the heck that is about. -Kitchen cabinets in poor shape with some not staying closed -Seemed clear this property is not managed by the owner, and there was little/no communication about how to access the property without me calling and getting the info from someone who is not the property owner. -Front steps are pretty aggressive and steep with jagged brick edges, not necessarily bad, but if you are older then this may present a problem.

Great place to stay, great location, but it's on a steep hill
We had a large group of family members from all over and we had a blast!! This property is on a very steep incline and is not easily accessible for anyone who has trouble with steps or inclines. The steps inside can be a challenge as well. The showers are great!!! Deck is relaxing, kitchen is great, and there is plenty of room!! Thank you, we had a great stay!! BTW, the water and ice in the fridge do not work so bring bottled water and ice if needed.

Nice property with lots of space
Overall, my group of friends enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of space for us to spend time together inside and outside on the deck. One thing I do think should be mentioned is the steps leading up to the front door are something steep and not great for groups traveling with someone with mobility issues, which we had in our group. It's not a negative thing, just something that should be added to the property's description and taken into consideration when booking.
