Very quiet and peaceful
This is a lovely little property, ideal for a couple or a couple with a young child. The owners, who live next door, were very friendly and helpful and Carol enjoyed practicing her French on them.
It's well equipped, with everything you need.
The decor is perhaps a little tired but this didn't bother us as it seemed very 'French' and everything was very clean.
We loved the veranda at the back and ate all our meals and sat in the evening there.
It's a very quiet location, very peaceful. We loved it!
There's plenty to do in the area; Montlucon is not far away if you want city stuff. We don't!
Lovely quiet medieval towns like Souvigny, Charroux and Herrisone. That's more our thing.
If you are more active then there is plenty of good walking or cycling, especially in the nearby gorges.
But there's no Alton Towers or Disneyland: Hooray!
If you want a quiet peaceful holiday in the middle of rural France then this is the place for you!
