Step into a world of luxury in our fully refurbished town house, right in the heart of Ilfracombe. We are 2 minutes walk from the harbour, 8 minutes to the Tunnels Beaches.
Designed with luxury in mind we have fully refurbished our large town house to create a stunning home from home for our guests to enjoy. With three double bedrooms accommodating six guests, we are sure you’ll love staying with us in Ilfracombe. We have a cinema and gaming room.
Arranged over 3 floors there is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the property, especially if the weather isn’t co-operating or if you need a day chilling out at home. The ground floor has a large open plan kitchen, dining and living space. This is definitely the hub of the home and where my family spends a lot of their time when we stay, if we’re not out and about exploring. We have a full working kitchen complete with new modern appliances (inc dishwasher). There is a large dining table with space for 6, plus some additional comfortable seating and a large wall mounted TV. The entrance hall has plenty of space to store buggys. The utility cupboard has a washing machine and tumble dryer. We also have a small WC on this floor.
Our master suite on the first floor is designed to create a relaxing haven where guests can unwind and relax after a long day. Thick deep pile carpets welcome you, relax on our new super king size bed with pillow top mattress and Egyptian cotton bedding. The master suite has a full en-suite bathroom separated from the bedroom by a large crittall style wall. The bathroom has underfloor heating, a large walk in shower, double sinks with illuminated (non steaming) mirror, plus a huge freestanding stone bath, possibly big enough for two. The master suite has a privacy lock on the entrance door.
Also, on the first floor is an additional double bedroom with king size bed and fitted wardrobe.
The top floor houses a further double bedroom with king size bed and fitted wardrobe. A family bathroom with freestanding bath, large wet room style shower, and vanity sink with heated steam resistant mirror. The bathroom benefits from underfloor heating.
Completing the top floor is a cinema room. Dark and sumptuous with a large 75 inch 4K TV. Wall mounted surround sound speakers allow for a fully immersive home cinema experience, perfect for a rainy day or an evening in. The cinema room has a large 3-4 person sofa, plus a jumbo bean bag (big enough for adults). We have supplied a Nintendo Switch for guest use with a small selection of games, perfect for family gaming.
There is a small terrace at the front of the property with comfortable seating for four.
Our combed Egyptian cotton towels are supplied by Scooms, voted no.1 towel for 2023 by The Independent. These are possibly the nicest towels I have ever used, I hope you agree. All our bed linens are Egyptian cotton too. All bathrooms are stocked with Rituals toiletries for our guests use.
The property is heated and cooled by an air source heat pump. The hallways have traditional radiators but our living spaces and bedrooms benefit from modern fan convectors, which can switch to cooling mode in the summer months if desired. Both bathrooms have underfloor heating.
The property is equipped with a high speed broadband connection with wifi access points on each floor. We have wired each room of the house with Cat 6 ethernet terminals should our guests need a high speed, stable, internet connection. All terminals are connected via a patch panel and network switch. The master bedroom has a desk with comfortable chair which can be used as a work station depending on guest need. There is an ethernet port and double plug socket next to the desk.
Our property is secured with an electronic lock, very easy to operate via a code or via the key fobs provided. There is optional use of our alarm system if guests would like to use it. We offer self check in, perfect if you are arriving late at night.
Our house is stocked with tea bags, a small quantity of coffee pods, sugar, toilet roll and hand soaps in each bathroom. We also supply Rituals shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. A welcome pack with a few essentials can be supplied on request.
We have strived to create a memorable holiday home for our guests to enjoy comfort and luxury whilst staying. Daily house keeping visits can be arranged if desired, for an additional fee. Please drop me a message if you have any questions or special requests.
