Beautiful house in a gorgeous setting

Beautifully maintained and decorated house, with everything you could want for a comfortable stay in this interesting part of Roussillon, in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Guy was a pleasant, helpful host. A very quiet location. We visited many castles, Romanesque abbeys and delightful medieval villages. Thank you for everything!

Great stay

Excellent property, Guy and Maryse are next door but dont intrude at all, but always available to help. Lovely position, surrounded by Olive trees. Super pool, with great views down to the Mediterranean in the distance. Used the BBQ a lot, its very distinctive. Lots of places to visit, and if you have a dog do use the walk by the river.

The holiday house is located outside a village on the hillside with a fantastic view over the valley all the way down to the Mediterranean sea on one side and Mt. Canigou on the other side. The location is great as there are many options for activities in a close range with the car (starting just down the hill with the Les Orgues of Ille-sur-Tet , 30 min to the sea, 30 min to the lovely Train Jaune going into the mountains and max 1 to 2 hours drive for the furthest attractions we visited). The house is fully equipped and has two cozy bedrooms, homely bathroom with washing machine and great shower and a large living/ kitchen area. The terrace, in front of the living area, offers reclining chairs and tables for a meal with the fantastic view. Next to the main house is the pool that offers an even greater view into the valley and surroundings with reclining chairs in full sun and chairs shadowed by Olive trees. It is a little paradise. We really enjoyed the two weeks of hospitality of the hosts who live next door. Both are very welcoming and lovely people who enjoy having guests from other places. The “Bonjour Ca va?!” when we met were always very connected with a smile and a hand wave. They speak several languages and were happy to guide us in organizational questions. They were also very helpful when we experienced a small medical issue with one of our teenagers. A clear recommendation from our side and we can imagine re-visiting this nice location again.

Das Haus schließt direkt an das Wohnhaus der Vermieter an. Pool und Grillplatz sind seperat auf dem Grundstück. Ausstattung war zweckmäßig. Uns fehlten kleine Annehmlichkeiten wie ein Sonnenschirm und gemütlicheres Sitzmobiliar. Ein Auto ist zwingend erforderlich. Die Aussicht ist ein Traum und die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich.

Noch viel schöner, als auf den Bildern

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das Grundstück ist riesengroß und vollständig umzäunt. Unser Hund (Ridgeback) konnte sich überall frei bewegen. Der Pool ist wunderschön angelegt. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und viel größer, als es auf den Bildern den Anschein hat. Unbedingt das Olivenöl aus eigener Herstellung probieren!

Immer wieder schön!

Auch unseren dritten Besuch im Gite d' Oliviers haben wir wieder sehr genossen. Wo kann man sich schon mit einem herrlichen Blick auf den Canigou im Pool abkühlen. Sehr entspannter Urlaub

Wir, 59 und 67 Jahre, haben mit unserem Hund im April eine wundervolle Woche auf dem großzügigem Areal mit Fernblick verbracht und uns dabei sehr wohl gefühlt. Wonderful house and garden, with a beautiful environment

We were not lucky with weather, because of an awfull wind, but we enjoyed the house and the environment. Did a lot of bicicle rides. Also the old city, "Ille sur Tet" is beautifull. "Les Orgues" is absolutely a visit worth. The owner of the Gite is very friendly and gave a lot of useful traveltips.

Es war großartig, Entspannung pur…exakt das, was wir gesucht haben

Der Aufenthalt war sensationell…mein Mann, unser Hund und ich haben Ruhe und Entspannung gesucht und bekommen. Das Haus bietet alles, was man sich wünscht. Wir waren 14 Tage dort und unser Hund konnte sich überall frei bewegen. Ein absoluter Traum! Der Pool ist herrlich und die Umgebung vielseitig. Es gibt hübsche Dörfer in der Nähe, wir konnten Mountainbike fahren, Essen gehen, Perpignon ist in 20 min erreichbar, zum Strand brauchten wir 30min. Die Küche bietet alles, was man zum kochen braucht. Die Vermieter sind super nett und wir hatten die ganze Zeit das Gefühl, dort allein zu sein. Noch nie habe ich einen Urlaub mit Hund so unkompliziert empfunden. Das eingezäunte Grundstück ist riesig und gut gesichert. Wir konnten uns wunderbar erholen und haben viele Eindrücke sammeln können. Frankreich ist einfach großartig und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Danke für die tolle Zeit!

Perfekte Erholung, naturnah und trotzdem abwechslungsreich

Unser Familienurlaub (2 Erwachsene, 2 Teenager und ein Hund) war wunderbar. Die Lage und der Blick sind einmalig, das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, insbesondere die Küche. Wir haben viel gekocht und es war alles da, sogar Stabmixer, Tarteform und etliche Töpfe und Pfanne, eine Kasserolle, zwei verschiedene Kaffeemaschinen (Senseo und Filter) uvm. In unmittelbarer Nähe starten Wanderrouten und in der Umgebung gibt es viel zu besichtigen- meistens 30 bis 40 Autominuten entfernt. Das Grundstück ist tatsächlich so eingezäunt, dass auch ein kleinerer Hund nicht weglaufen kann.
