You have to make you bed and take it down

Didnā€™t tell you you had to make the room up and take down until after you book room. East just a pain to do after a full day of traveling. Our bed didnā€™t have right size sheets or blankets. So may do with using small sheets and blankets. Food at the pub was some of the best we have had. Very good service and ambiance

The beds were surprisingly comfortable, even with two of them being top bunks. I am doubtful that the shower was cleaned adequately as there were long hairs clinging to the wall that did not belong to anyone in my party. The floor was very noisy.

Looked fab, kitchen facilities gt8. Was meant to be in a twin ended up in a four man room, but it was if they had booked at least six people in, far too many in the room. The walls are very thin you hear the people in the next room going to the toilet. Any movement from upstairs was heard, every door that opened and closed through out the night. Couldn't control the room temperture , boiling hot. Opdn the window and the noise was awful. As for the resturant, awful choice on the menue. Never slept!

Clean, nice location, and friendly staff but it is odd that we had to make our own beds and strip them too. Appears to be more of a hostel style stay than a hotel or inn as advertised. We enjoyed the small river right next to the hotel and only being 5 minutes from the castle. Good food in the restaurant as well.

For a room this expensive we should NOT have had to make up our own beds, strip the bed and room to put everything in a laundry basket. The location was okay, but there was no type of on site services. The restaurant staff was the onceā€™s helping. The fire alarm kept going off in the middle of the night and took awhile to turn off because there was no one on site.

It was a serviceable room for the family, but the mattresses are worn and left us with a backache the next day. Showers were decent. Our room was on the ground floor and there was someone on the first floor running around until after midnight and we could hear every step. Some young girls filmed a TikTok video outside our window at 10pm, but left when we told them we were trying to sleep. Listening to ā€œFootlooseā€ over and over was unpleasant.
