Charming hotel. Food is excellent. Cooked to order breakfast is delicious and generous. Stay for dinner but book a table. We had a car so it was a great hotel as a two day base and we stayed for the Loch Ness Marathon. This is a great idea, as the bus for marathon leaves Inverness at 6:15 but from Drumnadrochit 8:15 from their information centre. Start time is 10am and they bus all 5000 runners to the start (no spectators allowed). Loch Ness Inn should capitalise on this and offer a bus shuttle to pick up bus (they have a shuttle bus for their restaurant for 5 miles around) as well as early breakfast. If staying in Room 11 (window on first floor right under the words Loch Ness Inn) check the curtain has been altered so the light from those 3 spotlights are not streaming into the room. They are on all night. Room 11 is great-spacious and as it is at the end of the hall, no noise and no room above so another bonus.

We always appreciate any feedback so we can continue to improve the service provided to all of our guests and are arranging for a blackout blind to be fitted to the window of room 11 and will also add into our planner of next year the possibility of an earlier breakfast service and provide a drop off to the visitor centre for marathon runners.

Beautifully renovated room
We spent two nights at the hotel. It was a lovely room that had been recently renovated. The food in the restaurant at night was beautiful. The breakfast was also fabulous. The only downside was the heating. It was very hot in the room. We ended up opening windows, even when it was snowing outside!
