Whilst the general hotel was nice and the food was good - we were disappointed with the room which was no more than premier Inn / Travelodge style which are good but 1/3 of the price. The shower was very poor and had to run the cold tap into the bath to get any heat in the shower, a similar issue with a few other guest that I asked, so not operator issue. The shower tiles were also dirty. The room itself was clean and functional but not worth the hefty price tag per night.

Whilst room was very clean, it was quite basic, far from the 'luxury' that the listing would suggest. It was a standard room but I would have at least expected a modern bathroom. Spa facilities were very poor, the general concept of the layout was ok and it was in an average state of repair, but considering we were charged a fairly hefty £20 surcharge per person, to then find it absolutely packed with people (we counted 23 in total) was really unpleasant. We ended up just leaving after a few minutes. Reception were kind enough to refund our surcharge without any hassle. The value for money is reasonable but considering that the place we have decided to stay for the next couple of nights is broadly the same price with the surcharge, and has beautiful facilities all included, it wasn't great. I came away not necessarily feeling misled, but certainly oversold.

Booked because price was appealing, however unless you book direct, there is a £20pp fee to use the spa facilities which bumps the price up anyway. Room was ok, confortable but very Premier Inn like. Food at dinner was lovely, service at breakfast was terrible. There are other hotels in the area that are much better value for money.
