It is only a 5-minute walk from Lalzit Bay, which is known for its fine sandy beaches and clear waters. The apartment’s contemporary décor creates a stylish environment. The open-plan living area is full of light thanks to the large glass doors which lead out to a private balcony. The seating area has a comfortable sofa, a flat-screen TV and a high breakfast bar with four stools. The corner, fitted kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, coffee machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer.

The balcony is partly shaded and acts as a second living/dining room. It is furnished with smart sofas and a dining table and chairs for meals al fresco.

Location
San Pietro Resort is in the heart of Lalzit Bay. The area is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Albania. It is known for its child-friendly beaches, good restaurants and bars. More active guests can enjoy scuba diving, jet-skiing, water-skiing and a children’s playground. For self-catering there is a supermarket just a 1-minute drive away.

Inland from the coast, there is plenty for visitors to do, with many charming hill towns. Kruje (1 hour) is home to 5th-century Kruje Castle, as well as Kruje Bazaar which dates back to the 17th century. Here you can find authentic Albanian carpets, textiles and ceramics. There are also hiking routes in the surrounding mountains which range from the easy to the challenging. Adults will also enjoy a tour of Duka Winery and Vineyard (15-minute drive) which includes wine tasting and a fine lunch.

Tirana is a 45-minute drive and makes a great day trip. It is an eclectic mix of Ottoman, Soviet and Fascist architecture. The city is easy to explore on foot. Blloku is an exciting, young area, full of cafés and interesting boutiques. The main square – Skanderbeg Square is a must-see. The city’s markets offer a window onto everyday life. The New Market, Pazari Ri offers a wide range of local produce.

Tirana International Airport is just a 40-minute drive from the apartment.
