- A natural refuge: built of wood and surrounded by jungle and local fauna; from the upper floors you can glimpse the sea, and you'll likely spot local wildlife during your stay.
- The studio: a comfortable queen bed, private bathroom with hot water, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, and a laptop-friendly workspace.
Please note: this is a rustic, eco-style wooden hotel. The bathroom is an open, walk-in style; A/C keeps the room cool. It is a calm, conscious place rather than a luxury resort - that authenticity is exactly its charm.

The hotel has 11 rooms, making it great for groups, retreats, or family and friends trips wanting comfort, privacy, and a real connection to the island.
We do not have a pool or direct beach access, but one of Holbox's most beautiful beaches is about a 10-minute (10-block) walk away. We also partner with beach clubs: staying with us gets you a free drink at one and 10% off at another.

The Neighborhood:
The hotel is two blocks from the ferry - very convenient for arrivals and departures - and within a short walk of the island center, best restaurants, shops, bars, and the beach (all 5-10 blocks away). Right next door there is a convenience store popular with locals. In the evenings you may see people socializing nearby; it is a safe, lively local area. This is the authentic, port-side Holbox - rustic and real rather than a manicured resort strip.
Getting Around:
There are no paved roads in Holbox - and that's part of its charm. You get around on foot or by golf cart. If you rent a golf cart, you can park it right outside the hotel. From the ferry terminal in Chiquila (reached by car or ADO bus from Cancun), the ferry to Holbox takes about 25-30 minutes, and the hotel is just two blocks from the Holbox pier.

This is a rustic, eco-style wooden hotel near the Holbox port; the bathroom is an open, walk-in style. Holbox is a nature island, so you may encounter local wildlife (birds, geckos, the occasional insect, friendly local dogs). Please respect them and avoid leaving food out.
Your stay includes cleaning before arrival and after departure, plus basic welcome amenities. Additional cleaning or restocking during your stay can be arranged for an extra cost.
Interaction with Guests:
We have a front desk, though the receptionist is not there at all times - he lives on site, so you can reach him whenever you need anything. We use self check-in to make arrival easy, and we're always available for whatever you need.
