Beautiful home in a very fun neighborhood

The property had everything we needed. The neighborhood was great. Best tacos and drinks just across the road. Also small grocery store we used several times. Ran out of water once but it was fixed by the time we got back to the house from a jaunt around the island. We spent several nights up on the roof, watching the sunset and the stars. Perfect stay.

Our Family Vacation

This was my husband and my fourth trip to Isla Mujeres. This trip we brought my 88yr old father and our cousin, both whom have never been out of the states. Casa Luz was everything and more than we could have hoped for. The view from the top floor is amazing. Laura our hostess was Awesome!! She was there to greet us when we arrived, she quickly responded to any questions we had during our stay and kept us informed of anything happing on the island. We had such a marvelous trip. We met such wonderful people, had a great time on the beach, took some tours, and we enjoyed the great food. We were sad to leave but look forward to coming back. Thank you Laura, you made our trip that much more special.

Great Stay w/ Tacos & Margs Next Door

This house was fantastic for our week on the island! Laura was a pleasure to work with and was always available via text. The pool and grounds are well taken care of. We will definitely be back soon! Also next door is the BEST tacos on the island, we hung out at this place every day before getting ready for dinner. Love the guys at Rancho Capricho!

Wonderful home, Wonderful location

We really enjoyed the home. It was big enough for the 4 of us to spread out. The location was fantastic. (Punta Sur) It was walking distance to Garrafon park and directly across from the street from the best taco stand and Ranch Capricho. There is also a bar and small grocery store which was super convenient. The home was comfortable and AC was great. Internet was a little spotty but that is Island life for you. The pool was refreshing and the lawn and pool people came everyday to clean up the grounds for us. Half way through our 9 day stay, we have the cleaning service come and refresh. All I asked for was floors but she thoroughly cleaned the home for us. It was sparkling!! The house really is beautiful. Might want to bring some non-slip shoes for the marble floors. We had visiting birds and Iguanas. We love Isla and have enjoyed each VRBO we have stayed in. This one was the biggest and best so far. The only thing lacking was a view but we got on our golf cart and drove all over the island and had plenty of views. The host was very accommodating and helpful. There is a full kitchen. washer/dryer, linens and towels, games, tvs etc...

Amazing home in great location

This house is better than you could possibly imagine! It is absolutely gorgeous and in a great location. We loved the rooftop and being able to see water on both sides. The pool is fantastic for cooling off and spending an afternoon in your own space. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. Laura is very responsive and a fantastic host. Highly recommend!

No water for 2 days then no power

The a/c units froze up and flooded after the first night so one of us got a hotel room and the other 2 of us slept in the same bed and then that rooms AC went out. We had no water for 2 days and couldn’t flush the toilet then when the water got back working the power went out which meant no water again and the property owner was a prissy Brit who couldn’t be bothered... so...

Beautiful spot

Lovely home with private backyard. Can’t beat the rooftop terrace, pool and lovely touches inside. Fresh flowers, etc. Very comfortable and clean. Only issue was some noise from nearby bar until about 10pm.

Perfect place to stay!

Casa Luz is the perfect location for a quiet get away. The views are gorgeous and the home is on the south end of the island. The busy end is a short golf cart ride away. I highly recommend this home. Laura is quick to respond.

Amazing Home

Such a beautiful property! Gorgeous, comfortable, and had everything we needed (including beach towels). Staying at the south end of the island means it's best to get a golf cart, but we enjoyed zipping around the island. The home was sparkling clean. Amazing views from the rooftop deck. Loved it!
