Getting Around:
Guests will need to make sure they have their own vehicle. Summer months are fine with a small car but four wheel drive is a must in the winter!
Other Things to Note:
What to bring with you!- You're coming to a wilderness area to vacation and if you plan your vacation well you will have a positive experience. In the summertime May and through the middle of June can tend to be cooler early morning and toward the evening hours. Make sure to bring a jacket and long pants you can change into when needed. Bring a pair of tie up shoes to protect your feet. Shoes likes flip flops or sandals will not protect your feet when you are out exploring. Layering your clothing is a good idea and then if your too warm you can take off clothing as needed. At least this way when departing your cabin early morning to go site seeing you will have what you need with you. July and August are pretty warm and you should still bring a light jacket. The rest of the year you will want to bring heavier jackets and long underwear, snow suits etc. You will need to bring your private toiletries like bar soap and shampoo as we do not provide this for you. Cabins are equipped with everything else you should need except food of course. Snow tires and four-wheel-drive are recommended for traveling in Eastern Idaho during the winter. Road conditions can change quickly, and even well-traveled highways are occasionally closed by blizzards or high winds. Before setting out, check the Transportation Department's website or call 511 for an automated, up-to-the-minute status of all thoroughfares. Wise motorists will also carry emergency gear (shovel, snack bars, water, blankets) in their vehicles to be ready for any contingency. Coming Snowmobiling? A reminder to anyone traveling back country areas whether skiing, snowmobiling or hiking: Remember the time of year, exercising all back country cautions. Take necessary equipment and survival gear when venturing into the back country. If you have a GPS and cell phone, be sure to take them with you, but do not rely on them entirely for a safe rescue if you find yourself in trouble or stranded. Cell phones should be kept close to your body & turned off to keep the battery full, so it's not searching for a signal & running the battery down. Avalanche Transceivers and equipment, knowing what the avalanche conditions are, and knowing skills to save lives are a must for everyone entering back country riding or traveling. Plan ahead. Make sure you know the area you are going into before heading into it. If you find yourself in trouble, stop, take a look around you, and do not go any further. The further you go the more complicated and dangerous it is to get yourself to safety, also making rescue efforts more difficult and dangerous. Make mental notes in relation to any physical features or landmarks that would assist in your rescue. Make a plan, stick to your plan, narrow the riding area, & most of all...let someone know WHERE you are planning to go!

Family friendly
We had a couple days of bad weather and having the hot tub, pool table, ping pong, and shuffle board was so nice. We brought our boat up and utilized the boat slips during the day. The kitchen is very well stocked. I had everything I needed the whole trip.

Beautifullly furnished, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We loved it!
We loved our stay at Camille’s Haven. It was beautifully furnished, clean, comfortable and it had everything we needed! We fished and swam in the reservoir, rode our atvs, floated a river, golfed, played pickle ball, and enjoyed the gorgeous scenery of Island Park. It was so nice to come back and play games and relax here.

Mountain Climbing
This was a great place to stay! Great location if you want a short ride to the great back country/mountain riding that Island Park has to offer! Very nice house, clean, all the things you need to have a comfortable stay!
Close to Bar 030 and Lakeside Lodge! Great views of the mountains! Only thing that would have made it better was if we could of parked our sleds in the garage to melt down and work on, other than that, I rate it a 10!

Excellent property
We absolutely loved this place! This cabin was better in person than the pictures! Plenty of room, comfortable furniture and beds, great lawn area, the game room was awesome, close enough to town but luckily far enough away. A short drive to the water, the other cabins were far enough away. Everything was very clean. You had the normal wear and tear you’d expect from a rental but it was one of the best we have stayed in. We would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful weekend getaway
My extended family takes an annual trip together and chose Island Park this year. We loved Camille's Haven because of the scenery, inviting decor, and the garage apartment and rec room for the kids.
The guys fished (no luck) and the girls relaxed one day. The second day we spent in Yellowstone. With the couches, there was plenty of room for our party of 12

Great house for a family vacation!
We stayed here on a family trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton. We loved the house. The kids all stayed in their own room above the garage while most of the adults got their own rooms in the main house. (Win- win!) We loved the rec room in the garage as well and spent a lot of time there. There aren't many restaurants in Island Park, so we took full advantage of the kitchen for all our meals. We even went horseback riding at Yellowstone Horses just down the road. You do want to be aware that they house is a pretty good drive from most things, but as long as you are prepared for that, it is a great, quiet location. We would definitely stay here again.

Family Yellowstone vacation
As advertised...was nice to have a separate room above the garage for a separate area for the grandson to sleep early. Shower in 3/4 bath is a little small and 45min to the West Gate of Yellowstone was a bit far but, accommodating 8 adults was worth it. Phone and internet spotty though. Management was helpful and responsive to us!

Fantastic Home
Positive - Exceptionally quiet, well appointed, nicely decorated, lots of space for our family, beautiful setting, fun bunk house, comfortable beds and lounge chairs. Views are breath taking. our stay was in early May. A++
Less than positive - Long dirt/gravel road leading to the home, don't expect to keep your car shinny and sparkly. However, the roads are well maintained but dust and dirt are inevitable.

Beautiful House and Views
The cabin was beautiful! Plenty of room for the 4 of us since it sleeps 14. The garage houses the hot tub and pool table with sleeping quarters upstairs for 8 people. Great place for a large family. The gated community was beautiful and very easy to find. It was about 30 minutes or so away from West Yellowstone where we snowmobiled for 2 days. Highly recommend that you do the guided snowmobile tour in Yellowstone National Park and also snowmobile on your own on the trails outside of the park. There are so many trails you can do on your own. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. There was so much snow. Gorgeous!! We will definitely rent this cabin again.

Nice remote location
The amenities were as described, nice to have the space and entertainment there at this remote spot with kids. Little ones didn’t have much special for them, but very comfortable to play and use the rare nice lawn in rural Idaho. The kitchen was well supplied and it was nice appliances. The grill was explained to have a requirement for cleaning after use, but I had to clean it so I could even use it. The requirement of returning all dishes to locations was understood, but for the seemingly expensive cleaning fee, it would have been nice to just start the dishwasher and leave.
We knew the fees before I booked, but it was a big part of the total cost for cleaning and owner fees on top of VRBO fee and taxes, when we felt we had to do a fair amount of cleaning ourselves according to the locations binder. It’s a marketing strategy, and we ultimately booked it. I gave 3 stars for cleanliness as it had some food around the edges of furniture and on comforters, and weak order of old food when we first arrived that dissipated shortly. The lawn sprinklers would start at 0500 and were placed near the house but not set correctly, so they would hit the house creating more than I’d expect noise and woke the kids up. There were explicit instructions not to change them, so I adjusted the head only. The groundskeeper came that day and apparently undid my fix, 2 of three nights were an abrupt wake up. I was hoping it was an elk rubbing it’s horns on the siding, but it wasn’t. Did see prong horns and elk in the yard.
All in all, a good stay and would recommend going here. It is a decently long drive to anything, so consider your travel plans if it’s day trips out. We spent a lot of time in Yellowstone and West Yellowstone, which was at least 30 scenic minutes away. Give it a try, we would consider going back.

Cabin was very comfortable. TV in master bedroom you can only watch DVDs as its not connected to the cable, however we weren't really at the cabin enough to watch TV anyways. The hot tub trips the breaker every 10 minutes.
