Elk Meadows is a newly constructed home with incredible attention to every possible detail. We are proud to offer this fabulous home for your vacation enjoyment. Elk Meadows has a spacious, open floor plan with the living room, dining area and kitchen situated together to form a terrific area to gather with family and friends and enjoy your time together. The kitchen has new, stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops; even the most discriminating chef would feel at home in this fantastic kitchen with every conceivable amenity. The propane fireplace makes for a cozy atmosphere while enjoying the large flat screen television with an Amazon Fire Stick. Large sliding glass doors and expansive covered deck allows you to enjoy the mountain air. You will appreciate the marvelous views while you relax; grill a steak on the barbecue or roast marshmallows on the outdoor fire pit.
The roomy downstairs family room gives you an additional gathering area to watch your latest binge show on the flat screen television or play a game on the foosball table. Sliding glass doors open to enjoy the great outdoors. The covered patio and hot tub will have your relaxing soak at the end of the day your favorite part of your vacation.
Here at Elk Meadows we know that your vacation enjoyment begins with a good night sleep. Elk Meadows sleeps 12. The master bedroom is located upstairs with an attached bath. Downstairs has two large bedrooms with comfortable log queen beds and a great bunk room with a queen bed and two twin size bunk beds. There is a queen sofa sleeper in the downstairs family room. Luxurious bedding is provided. Elk Meadows has three full bathrooms with linens provided.
Elk Meadows is ideally located near restaurants, gas stations and the local grocery store. Should you want to play a round of golf; the clubhouse is located just a block from the home.
Whether your vacation plans include snowmobiling, atv riding, boating, fishing, hiking or sight seeing – Elk Meadows will provide a wonderful atmosphere for life to slow down and unwind.

Elk Meadows is open year around and is conveniently located in a central location. Enjoy some of the area’s best activities within minutes from leaving the lodge. Yellowstone National Park is 25 minutes away. Enjoy record breaking fishing in the Madison River or Henrys Fork of the Snake. Take in the majestic beauty of Mesa Falls or visit Johnny Sacks Cabin and Big Springs just a few minutes down Highway 20. Float trips, horseback riding, ziplines and golf are easily available. Take the time to hike at Harriman State Park and enjoy natures wonders.
During the winter, the driveway is plowed and there is ample parking for your trailer and truck. Should you need additional parking, there is a large public lot just right up the road. Island Park is notorious for its snowmobiling and offers something for every riding level.
Elk Meadows is a NON-SMOKING and a PET FREE cabin. We are under county ordinances for short term rentals and ask that our guests please stay in compliance for their safety and health; we ask that you stay within capacity limits, read the burn ordinance and be neighborly!

Great space

We traveled with 10 (6 adults, 4 kids). We had plenty of space. The video game, the air hockey table and the hot tub were a big hit with the kids. We drove in from Bozeman where we stocked up on groceries at the Walmart there, this worked out great as grocery options are limited in Island Park. We had Wi-Fi issues & they were resolved the next day. The manager was very responsive. Lovely house, lovely area. Yellowstone was great & Lake Henry was beautiful.

Spacious, comfy, and fun

Family consisting of 3 sisters and our families travelled from 3 different states to meet for a Yellowstone/Grand Teton NP vacation. The cabin was the perfect home base for us for the week. Lots of room to spread out. The lower level, including bunk room was perfect for the kids & tweens to hang out. The kitchen was just about the best stocked of any rental I’ve stayed in-and we travel a lot! The beds were also really comfy, which was much appreciated after our long days of outdoor exploring. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening and having coffee on the deck in the morning. There was even a fox that we spotted on two mornings, just leisurely exploring the grassy area behind the cabin. The grocery store at the corner with gas station and firewood for sale was a surprising bonus. They had pretty much everything you might need from a typical grocery store. There’s a markup for the convenience but not ridiculous. We ended up picking up a few things pretty much every day. The hostesses were great about answering questions that came up during our stay too; which is always appreciated. Zero complaints about our stay. Thank you for helping us make such amazing family memories!!

The home had everything we needed. It's was the perfect layout with the master bedroom upstairs. All the games downstairs and children's bedrooms downstairs. It was very clean which is EXTREMELY important to me. The only reason why I am not giving it an excellent rating is because of one very minor issue. The freezer did not have a handle, so opening took a little extra effort. Also, I'm used to having to take out the trash and occasionally starting the dishwasher when staying at VRBOs, so that didn't bother me, but for a 400 cleaning charge I must admit that I was slightly annoyed with having to also strip the beds and start a load of towels. Other than that, my family and I would stay here again if visiting the area.

Property was above and beyond expectations! Cleanest vacation home I've ever stayed in. Fully stocked with all amenities you could need. No clutter from the owners personal items. It was a seamless experience and would absolutely recommend staying here. Was just my girlfriend and I but this place would easily host 10 guests.

Cleanest place we have ever stayed

We loved staying here. A family of 5 who loves snowmobilibg and it is a perfect location. We have stayed in this area many times and have never stayed somewhere this clean. The only complaint is the inability to see our sleds and trailer from the house due to the layout of garage and no garage access.

The Cabin was very nice , plenty of room . the online pictures show a better view , trees on the adjoining properties have grown up and block the view quite a bit. The stay was great over all. Shawna was very helpfull.

Shawna and Laceigh were great communicators. They were timely with their interactions with us. The property is well kept. Plenty of room for spreading out our party of 10. The property gave excellent access to both Yellowstone and Grand Tetons (drive through Yellowstone to Tetons is beautiful). Lots to do outside the park. We were extremely well pleased. We highly recommend this property

The home is beautiful and well kept. It is in a great neighborhood. All the people we encountered in Island Park were very friendly. Our only downfall was during our stay the house would get up to 80 degrees while we were out adventuring during the day. There was only one fan. At night we had to open the windows that were too high for a bear to reach to cool it down to sleep. I did reach out to management about it on day one, she said she would let see if someone could bring fans the next day. I never heard back and no one brought fans, it was too hot to sleep so I had to go purchase 3 fans for my family to use. We flew there so we had to leave them for the future guest to use.

This property was spacious and beautiful! It was a great location to experience Yellow Stone and the surrounding area. Only two points of feedback: the bath towels were quite malodorus, seemed like from sitting in the washer too long. And there are no non stick pans. But we got along just fine. It was a great weekend! Thank you!

Elk Meadows was the perfect home for us during our family trip. It was comfortable, clean, and everything we needed during our stay. It was also within 30 minutes of the West Yellowstone entrance, which was the entrance with the sites we wanted to see.

This cabin is bigger than it looks. There were of 8 of us and plenty of room. I have never been to a rental that had Q-tips and cotton swabs in the bathrooms. They even had all sizes of baggies for use in the kitchen. We enjoyed staying here.

It’s an amazing property. It is a home away from home and better. Every small detail has been considered. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious and super clean. We felt like we came back to a welcoming home after a long day at Yellowstone. The cookware and dinnerware was clean. We cooked dinner overnight and the kitchen was not lacking in anything. Furthermore there is a grocery store not even 5 minutes away. The view was beautiful. When the weather permitted we had tea on the patio. Thank you for the thoughtful gift you left us, your gesture is much appreciated.

Great home for our family of 11

This is a fantastic home and they have thought of everything to make a great vacation. It is 20 minutes from the west entrance to Yellowstone. There are only a few options for groceries, so get most of what you need in one of the larger cities. The only thing that they could add is a laundry basket for each bedroom. We would highly recommend this property.

The house and location were both amazing. Spent 5 nights, with our children and their spouses, total of 6 adults. The house was more than adequate for all our needs. Being able to sled right from the front door was great. My only suggestions would be to have a King bed in the massive master bedroom and some more wall hooks for hanging up gear. Would definitely stay there again.
