The man man had difficulty checking us in. He said my card had insufficient funds.I told him my credit card has a high limit, and suddenly he completed the transaction. The smoke alarm in the room was beeping and he was confused about how to fix it. The heater did not work. He was equally confused. It was 30 degrees outside and the room opened to the outdoors. We left and did not stay.

Property was rustic. Room was small for the price, esp. bathroom. Very noisy-vehicular traffic and other guests. Could hear about everything that went on in neighboring rooms. Staff was very nice. Front desk was not manned-had to call if you needed or wanted anything. Heat in room worked and so did AC.

The place is overall nice. My complaint is that the King rooms are very small. With our luggage, we didn't have a lot of room at all. bathroom was tiny too. Our other family had 2 queen room and is was great. Has a cute restaurant attached. It actually was a nice place, but get the queen room instead of king.

The rooms are dated. They still use actual keys for the doors instead of key cards. No breakfast is included. No one was at the front desk when we arrived. And the front office wasn’t open when we left. They had a drop box for the room key.

Comfortable but don’t eat here

This lodge is a bit dated but the room was comfortable and the bathroom has been refreshed . Dining leaves a lot to be desired and if it hadn’t been so late when we checked in we would have gone elsewhere to eat. We wouldn’t recommend this as a place to eat at any time.
