Clean but a little shabby. Shower in particular was poor; mouldy grout and feint smell of drains. Small room. Shabby furniture that marked easily. Clean bed linen and friendly staff but didn’t meet my expectations.

Lovely hotel with great staff, particularly Joy the manager who was fab. Beautiful beer garden and views and walks from hotel were stunning. Only let down was very small bar with not much space to stand and wait to order or pay.

Comfortable stay, albeit pricey.

Room was clean and adequate for a short stay but relatively expensive for facilities provided. Nice crisp linen, but beds felt old. Some noise from nearby rooms and ones above. Towel rail in bathroom was rusty.The TV needs a swivel arm so that it can be watched from the seating area and there needs to be a small table by the soft chairs for drinks etc. The breakfast was excellent with a large choice.
