Front beach Isle of Palms sea cabin! Beach views, excellent location, well kept.

Premier Beach front Sea Cabin located on beautiful Isle of Palms, SC. Fully renovated with top of the line appliances and furniture! Gorgeous Atlantic oceans views from the balcony! This one bedroom condo on the 2nd floor can sleep five with a queen bed in bedroom, pull out sofa bed in the living room, and a built in youth bunk bed for kids in the hallway (full disclosure: these are youth bunk beds, which are skinnier than a twin, and I would not recommend children over 10 years old in them). The dimensions of the youth bunk bed are roughly 74"x25". The kitchen is fully equipped, we provide bed linens as well as one bath towel per guest.
Located on beautiful Front Beach on Isle of Palms with restaurants, shops, grocery store and ice cream stands all within walking distance.
Sea Cabins has the only private pier and an ocean front pool. You are allowed to fish off the pier and will need a South Carolina fishing license.

Unit is located on the second floor and has galley kitchen with flat screen tv's in the living area and bedroom.
The Sea Cabins are located just 20 minutes from historic Downtown Charleston, 30 minutes from CHS airport and 5 minutes from 2 world class golf courses in Wild Dunes!

*No washer/dryer inside of unit, only in the middle of complex which takes coins or an app on your phone.
**This condo is an elevated building with no elevator. This is a 2nd floor condo.
We manage multiple other sea cabins so ask about booking more than one!

Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide one bar of soap per bathroom, one small shampoo per bathroom, two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the sink, two trash bags, and fresh linens for all beds. We also leave one towel and hand towel per guest the home sleeps. We do not provide beach towels or chairs.

We absolutely loved staying here!! The bathroom sink was my absolute favorite! Drop dead Gorgeous!! It was so close to the beach/shops & pretty close to everything else & we truly enjoyed every second. One thing that wasn’t the best was there was makeup on the night stand / shoes under the bed from I assume the previous guest, & then the only “negative” thing I can say is we killed around 5 roaches during our stay, but not the biggest deal in the world! Way better than spiders We had an overall absolutely amazing trip! Would definitely stay again, & have already recommended to my family & friends!

Property was right off the beach - private access from property! Overall unit was upgraded-nice. Bedroom small, no storage - lived out of suitcase, which was ok, being mostly in bathing suit! Would not recommend for more than 2 people, although it had bunk beds, fairly small for more than 2 people. Excellent location - next to public beach access and restaurants/bars just down the street - walkable.

Let me preference this review by saying that the Sea Cabin facility is in a very convenient location to I-526 and I-26 as well as the Greater Charleston area. There was only one issue that kept this review from being a high 4 star, but sadly I must say our stay was not without an issue. That is was the fact that the condo was not clean. Upon arrival we noticed that the floor had an unacceptable amount of sand on the floor. We’ve owned ocean front rental properties before and sand is something you are always dealing with, but a good cleaning crew should know how to vacuum it up. Maybe the most concerning issue was the black and red mold in the tub. The tub wasn’t clean and still had sand in it. The shower curtain was mildewed and had to be cleaned with bleach before we could take showers. When it became time to go to bed we noticed that the nightstand drawers in the bedroom were nasty. One had Cherry stems and what appeared to be poop from a baby’s diaper in it and the other drawer was just dirty. The next morning we cooked breakfast and nearly every dish we used was dirty. Utensil were placed back in the draw with dried food on them. The beautiful plates all had food stuck on them. One of the frying pans had been put away with grease still in it. Enough said, the place was not clean!!! I doubt the Owners are aware of these issues. They simply rely on the real estate management firm that hires the cleaners to make sure the place is clean and pleasant for guest.

The location of this condo (or sea cabin) and its amenities were excellent. There was convenient access to everything. Our condo was clean and had all the necessities. My only requests would be to have a full length mirror hung on the back of one of the doors and some kind of foot rest in front of the couch. Other condos offered twin size fold out bunks which would be nice addition for older kids. However, it was still a pleasant and relaxing retreat and one I would recommend to other vacationers.

Great location and amenities

Sea Cabins were a great rental and all units appear to have a decent ocean view. We loved the pool, pier, and beach access at the location. Small downsides were the unit had some cleaning we needed to do before we felt comfortable. Cleaners for unit may have just rushed through but the drawers for many cabinets had some dirt or debris we had to clean out. Also tenants below us came up to complain about noise mid day which seemed unreasonable as we thought we were just going about a normal day with children.Other downside was a lack of storage space for our clothes or space to open and layout our suitcases. Kitchen was great and has everything we needed for cooking and utensils.If you book just recommend bringing more garbage bags and Tp as well as minor cleaning supplies.

Great cozy cabin

It was perfect location, view and amenities. Walking distance to everything we needed. Enjoyed the private access to pier and beach. Friendly people in the complex- both tenants and renters. Robert/Tyler were available for quick questions we had at check in and trying to find things. Hope to book again in future!

Beach front condo

The property was exactly as described, and was in an excellent location. Everything was very clean and well kept, and the views from our balcony were beautiful. There were several restaurants witin walking distance and a private pier where you can fish. This was our first time using Vrbo and the host made the process very easy. We will definitely be going back in the future.

Great except for one small thing

Everything was great--location is perfect, quiet in the evenings and no issues with loud neighbors and no parking lot noise. Only suggestion is to upgrade the bedsheets--they didn't seem like a great quality and tended to come off the corners every night.

Overall, the condo is very nice for a small family. We did have to buy cleaning supplies as there is none at the property and we did need to clean as there was sand and hair from the last visitors. Outside of the cleanliness issue, the condo is perfect for a small family. There is limited seating in the living room so we did use the floor a lot but we made it work. There is also a palm tree blocking the beach view which was disappointing but the beach is close and gorgeous! Very clean and the neighborhood park is just next door perfect for the kids.

Cute and right next to the beach

This was a great place to stay right next to the beach! The host was very easy to communicate with and was very responsive. We didn’t realize the bunkbeds were in the entry hallway- we thought there were two bedrooms- but that maybe was just an oversight of me not looking close enough at the listing. We really enjoyed our time here!
