This is a little gem in the historic district of Istanbul. The service quality is outstanding. We absolutely loved it. The hotel is located within a short walking distance of famous sightseeing sites. There is a large selection of food options in the adjacent streets.

WOW! The hotel itself was fantastic, and the staff could not have been more accommodating. When we arrived, we realized we had left one of our converters behind. So immediately they gave us two to borrow. Later one of us tore some clothing, so we requested a sewing kit. At first we had a little difficulty communicating what a sewing kit as, but once they understood, they brought us one to our room immediately. Once in the room, it was very spacious, and cozy. The light sconces are pure silver, and no attention to detail is missed. The bed was beyond our imagination. We traveled in Europe for 5 weeks, and stayed at probably 11-12 different hotels. This bed was By Far the most comfortable bed. I have a back problem and generally toss and turn at night. Once I fell into bed I was enveloped in comfort. I fell right asleep and woke up in the same position in which I fell asleep. The rooftop patio for breakfast has a great view of the harbor, and the food was excellent. They even made omelettes the way we wanted them that was pure heaven. The location is great, very near a walking market and the fabulous Blue Mosque, each of is within easy walking distance. The money for the value of this establishment is outstanding. IF WE COULD GIVE THIS HOTEL 10 STARS, WE WOULD!

Lovely quiet location

Enjoyable stay for 4 nights early June. Staff friendly and great service. Slightly disappointed with our room not really Boutique class! Bathroom very small with nowhere to put your toiletries. Wardrobe had nowhere for long dresses. The long side had no hanging rail. Breakfast room had fantastic view of the Bospheris.

If you have a quick 1-2 day stay or layover in Istanbul, this hotel is the perfect place to stay. The Hotel itself: The hotel is warm, inviting, and very clean and well kept. The rooms are on the small side (as expected with such a location) but all the space is thoughtfully laid out. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. Room includes A/C, very comfortable beds, and various amenities (bathrobes, slippers, etc.). There is a spa with pool, sauna/hammam, and massages but we didn't have time to use those facilities. The staff: The staff are very friendly and helpful. When we checked in, the agent gave us a map and a thorough itinerary and plan of what we could visit and see in our limited time in Istanbul. This was very helpful for us to get a sense of what we could and could not do in 1.5 days. Logistics: We were able to book a 2-way transfer from the airport to the hotel and back through the hotel. Make sure you ask them for the video instructions to know where to find the ride at the airport arrivals. Location: The hotel is conveniently located to all of the main touristic attractions in Sultanahmet such as Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace. The area around the hotel is quaint and picturesque with plenty of food and shopping options (although both are probably better in other areas such as Karakoy or Beyoglu). All in all, this hotel is great and probably one of the best in the immediate area. If you are looking to stay in Sultanahmet, book this one!

A very nice boutique hotel in a great location. Walkable to tourist attractions. Quiet area with lots a restaurants, small convenience and other shops just a short walk away. Staff were excellent. Lovely courtyard area and pool. Rooftop restaurant with great views. Rooms are not big but modern, well appointed with very comfortable beds. Excellent buffet breakfast.

We had a great stay at Amiral Palace, the location was excellent as everything was in walking distance, but still quiet. Breakfast view was a nice start to every morning, bed was comfortable and the room we had was quite nice and spacious.

Our first visit to Turkey and Istanbul was truly unforgettable, and staying at Amiral Palace Hotel Boutique made it even more special. The location is absolutely perfect just a short walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and surrounded by amazing restaurants and charming streets. The hotel itself is cozy and elegant, with a boutique feel that makes you feel at home. One of our favorite parts was the rooftop the views of the Bosphorus are simply breathtaking, especially at sunrise or sunset. The staff was kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay to start our Turkish adventure. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul for the first time!

Q.When does the King Suite with Sea View become an unavailable room type? A. When the hotel decides to rename it the Executive Suite with Sea View. Thought we were on a good thing for our last two nights in Istanbul when we booked this spacious, modern room with large windows and a panoramic view of the Bosphorus. And purchasing it during the Black Friday sale at 52% off we were in heaven. Alas it was not to be. On Check in we were greeted by the Sales and Marketing Manager and advised that there had been a mistake by Hotels.com and our King Suite with a Sea View in fact had no Sea View. We were downgraded to the King Suite in the old part of the hotel. We objected but were told if wanted a suite with sea view we would have to pay $300 Euro p/n when in fact we had paid only around half this amount. Even though we knew this story to be BS we were tired & reluctantly retreated to the room. It was spacious and had a comfortable bed decorated in old style Turkish but looked nothing like the pictures of the room we booked and of course no sea view. To add insult to injury we had a malfunction with the shower which required staff to clean up a flooding mess and send a technician to repair. Window furnishings were not block out. As our flight was at 1:40am we had additionally booked a day room. After our second complaint management reluctantly upgraded us for 8 hours to the beautiful Executive Suite. This however only brought home what we had missed out on the previous two nights!

They arranged a ride from and to the airport and it was very comfortable. The front desk staff and manager were extremely helpful and kind when we needed assistance. The room was better than the pictures. The breakfast was excellent with amazing views. The breakfast staff was friendly and helpful especially Mohammed. The pool and steam room were wonderful. The cleaning staff were all smiles and helpfulness. This part of the Sultanamet was quiet yet very close to everything. We loved this hotel.
