Nice hotel in the middle of the city center, walkable to all popular tourist spots but quiet for sleep. The hotel arranged transfers to airport and boat tour for us. We had an issue with the air conditioning system but it was rectified quickly. The staff was very responsive and friendly. The breakfast was amazing with gorgeous view

The staff were very nice, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is relatively new and showed nicely. While it is situated within a 5 minute walk from Blue Mosque, the area is very quiet and the rooms come with modern silent windows. The rooftop terrace has great views and is a great place to enjoy breakfast in the morning or a drink/dinner in the evening. On the negative side, the mattresses weren’t as comfortable as I would have liked (not enough support) and the shower head leaked so much that we had to use the wand instead (minor annoyance) and the shower door didn’t close properly (pet leave of mine). Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

This was a wonderful hotel in a great area. Quiet safe room at night. Great roof top dining. Pool! Staff that was very attentive to all our needs. Walkable to just about anywhere. This should be your place to stay in Istanbul. We have already talked about staying here again.

They’re right off the beaten path of restaurant and shop hasslers. Quick jaunt through the local bazarre and you’re right between the Mosque hot spots. The store hustlers are everywhere. There are actually no hassle zones, lol!!! Breakfast was mediocre at best nothing to pay €15 for at all. Many other local options. Restaurant has great view. Staff are attentive and friendly. Google translate helps a lot, but many are fluent in several languages. Didn’t use massage services, but spa several times and was nice.

I loved my stay here. The staff was excellent and always asked me how I’m doing and making sure my stay was good. They gave me info on tours in Istanbul and the places I should visit as a tourist. Though the rooms are a bit small (I booked the standard room), but it is a boutique hotel after all. There are bigger rooms available!! The rooftop restaurant is gorgeous! Very accessible to everything. Lots of restaurants near by. My only complaint about the hotel was that the hamam smelled bad… I couldn’t use it… also the spa lady wasn’t very helpful or attentive… or friendly. I feel like that spot of the hotel can use more attention, but the pool was nice!!! So was the gym! Also the noise level— people would scream or yell outside a lot, but this is sultanahmet, very busy place so that’s expected and not the hotels fault! Just keep your window closed when you’re about to sleep. I would stay here again for sure! Best service I’ve received at a hotel, and I travel a lot! It’s nearby to a lot of the important spots, and you can walk to Galata tower too in 40 mins. The mosques are a 5-7 minute walk. Topkapi is also 5-10 minute walk. If you want to head near the galata bridge for balik ekmek (fish sandwich) it’s like a 20-30 minute walk! You won’t regret booking here. Very accessible to lots of spots. Also the hotel is very attentive and will find you transportation or anything you need! DONT SKIP ON THE BREAKFAST OPTION! they have AMAZINGGGG breakfast!!! The options are wide!!!

Faulty advertising and room type by Hotels.com

I had reserved a certain room type and paid for the room three months earlier. A day before arrival, the Amiral hotel contacted me and downgraded me claiming Hotels.cim was at fault. I was placed in the center with no help from Amiral Hotel and Hotels.com customer service is useless. Beware- the Amiral hotel will give you what ever room they chose with no consequences.

Excellent spa hotel in prime location

Amazing stay at this hotel. Loved that the pool and spa area were open until at least 11pm to allow you to relax after dinner

A most escellent hotel!

The Amiral Palace hotel is most excellent. The service is excellent. Thank you to Veysal, Mrs Tugba and Yusuf at the front desk who managed every issue for our group of people. The breakfast was excellent, there are panoramic views of the Marmara Sea and I especially enjoyed the local spread. The service at the breakfast restaurant was also exemplary, the large hotels can learn from them. A gem in Istanbul!
