Amenities in room were nice but no bar soap. Could not get AC to work so I slept 2 nights with window open. Front desk booked half day tour for a Friday and cancelled/moved reservation from morning to afternoon. Messed up my tight two day schedule.

Outstanding location to the major sites in the old part of Istanbul. Very clean rooms. Very helpful staff. The scrambled eggs at breakfast are OUTSTANDING!!! Easy access to Tram #1 which can take you to newer part of Istanbul with an easy transfer to the funicular directly to Taksim Sq and Istiklal Cd, which is the main shopping street.

We had a very nice stay. The breakfasts were great. We could walk to everything. Halil at the front desk was sooo helpful in helping us plan our days. Very clean. Nice people working there. Really fun trip.

The hotel was fine and the staff was excellent BUT when they arranged the transport to the airport for our flight they did not ask us which airport (Istanbul has 2 large airports, IST and SAW) . We did not know this, we were delivered to IST (the wrong airport - and we had showed them the tickets) and had to rush by taxi to the SAW and missed the flight and luckily were able to purchase tix to another flight that day. This error/oversight cost us about $700 and could have been elevated had the hotel simple asked "which airport." Other then that, I would give the hotel a solid 4 star

The front of house staff which were available to support 24hours, were very friendly and helpful - excellent customer service. The room was spacious, clean and kept to a high modern standard. The room has a mini bar, with alcoholic (beers) and soft drinks. The bed mattress was on the firm side but worked for me as I much prefer it. The breakfast was also good, as a buffet type you get a choice between hot and cold food (or both). The hotel is in a superb location only 6mins walk to Sultanahmet Square and at close proximity to restaurants and bars. Public transport (tram) is also a few mins walk. I would highly recommend.

Our room got flooded when it rained, the staff was so rude except for one man that worked in the lobby. The staff that works at the breakfast area does not smile at all even when you say good morning. The staff at the lobby will not even greet you because they are so busy on their phones. There are other great hotels nearby

Great breakfast.staff, and location, but NOISY! We heard everything! The people talking/yelling in rooms around us, other toilets flushing, doors slamming, etc. I'm not sure if it was becasue we were on the first floor, but it was VERY NOISY. Also, we couldn't get the AC to work (well) and the room often got warm and stuffy- and they did show us how to work the thermostat, but it didn't really help.
