Staff were excellent (Ece and Yasmin especially). Always polite, helpful, kind. Hotel is lovely, great location in Galata, easy walking to the tower (3 minutes), and very easy to get across to the old city via bridge, which in itself gives great views of Istanbul. Loads of dining, bakery and coffee options nearby. Central but also manages to be quiet (I had room at back, you don't get the view but it's a sanctuary). Can highly recommend, from here, if you don't mind a walk, theres no need for public transport, almost all the main sites are within half hour walking distance.

Nice, very clean room, great shower, very helpful and kind staff, excellent location. Just know that what they call a sofa bed is not what we consider a sofa bed in North America. It’s literally just a sofa that frankly isn’t very comfortable to sleep on. Would definitely recommend staying here.

I visited with my mom for a week back in October. The staff was amazing and accommodated us with an extra bed by the time we arrived (excellent gesture). Breakfast was in a separate building and while the walk is a bit of a trek, the views were worth it. I wished however that there was a little bit more food variety and turkish dishes as the menu was mostly "americanized", which left me wanting more. Other than that, the hotel was excellent. Thanks!

The hotel is good; I think I just got bad luck with them....or they really don’t care. I booked a Deluxe King bed and they gave me superior Double bed.... 3 times told them.. And they told me the same: I need to check the reservation... next day after contacted Expedia and request that I want to have a room that I booked and paid. The hotel offered me an upgrade to a suite ( we talking about changing room at 10 pm)but next day at 9:00 a construction was going on just under my room all day ... they offer me again to change for another room… changing 3 times was too much for a reservation for 3 nights. They apologize with a half bottler of wine.. That was nice but no wine opener…. Went to the reception in person to request one and at 2:15 am they call to my room to let me know that they don’t have one…..just for the record they have a full bar at the lobby just in front of the reception. If you ask to talk to a manager they tell you that they are in a meeting, come back next day at 11:00. In case you are thinking about staying in that hotel, the location is very good and the hotel is in good condition and nice. Better to book the cheapest and smaller room or maybe think about booking the hotel just in front which is beautiful .

I’d firstly like to start off by saying the front of house staff members were brilliant… very helpful and kind. On the down side the large tv in the bedroom only had German or Arabic speaking channels and the options to connect to Netflix and YouTube did not work… so not ideal when you want to watch a movie at night whilst in bed. Another major issue was that the smell of sewage would arise from the shower throughout the day wether they had a plumbing issue or not I’m not aware but it was unbearable where the bathroom door would always have to be closed and when taking a shower it was very unpleasant. If the smelly poop smell in the shower was fixed and the tv had English speaking channels or the Netflix worked I would stay here again, till then I’m afraid I would not consider coming back. A reminder again, the front of house staff were lovely.

A wonderful hotel perfectly located for restaurants, bars and sightseeing. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was exceptional!
