Nice hotel with modern-decorated rooms in an 80’s style-vibe with all of the needed amenities - firm bed, hot shower with good water pressure, enough towels, working A/C, spacious room with a closet, lots of storage, in-room safe and refrigerator. Very professional and hospitable hotel staff. The hotel is located in an area with lots of walkability, shops, restaurants, and only a 15 minute walk downhill to the port area. The street on which the hotel is located is very busy with lots of car horns beeping that can be heard throughout the morning in the room. Bring earplugs for a better sleeping experience. My only minor gripe is that there’s no breakfast offered on-site, so you have to walk 10-15 minutes to another hotel (Port Bosphorus Hotel), which does have an excellent buffet breakfast with a wonderful view for the Hotel Kulsumz hotel guests at no additional charge if purchased with your room - and this does indeed make up for having no on-property food. We received free breakfast as a VIP perk because of being an Expedia Gold Member. The Hotel Manager (Burak) ordered a taxi cab to the airport for us for a specific set fee and then we had to pay an additional fee for using a credit card when we arrived at the IST airport. The taxi driver could speak minimal English (he used Google translator on his phone).

Very kind helpful staff. Had useful advice on transportation and coordinated a taxi to get me to the airport in the middle of the night. My booking included breakfast which was hosted at another hotel 5 mins away with an excellent selection of breakfast items and a spectacular view of the Bosporus.

Et meget standard hotel med utroligt flinke og imødekommende værter. Beliggenheden er super ideel hvis man gerne vil være okay tæt på transportmuligheder. Den eneste grund til de ikke får 5 stjerner: Der mangler basis toiletartikler og rengøringen haltede. To punkter som kan løfte hele oplevelsen. Vil dog bo her igen, hvis/når jeg besøger Istanbul igen. Der er mange gode spisesteder og kaffesteder i området.
