Ithaca stay over

The Butternut falls were close not much else - hotel is south of downtown. The pool was closed which was disappointing. Beds comfy. Fridge noisy.

Great breakfast, but broken laundry machines

Our group stayed three nights and four days in rooms both with and without kitchens. The breakfast was great, staff were great, and the value was great. The rooms are dated with squeaky faucets, old carpets, and wobbly toilet seats, but otherwise comfortable. There isn’t much close by as it is on the hill above the main hotel strip, but Ithaca isn’t so big that we couldn’t drive. With the pool closed long-term, there’s nothing for kids to do around the hotel except to run up and down the halls. Our biggest gripe was that the advertised laundry services (washer and dryer) were not working all four days we were there. We probably would’ve booked another place with working laundry machines.

Neither pool or the laundry facilities are open.

The pool is not functional and not open !!! We were told at the front desk during check-in that the pool wasn't working and it hasn't been working in a long time. When I mentioned that it didn't mention that on the website, she basically called me a liar. I immediately looked it up again to confirm that it wasn't. Otherwise, it's a nice place and the breakfast was really good 👍.

The rooms need some paint and new carpet. The beds are soft and also need to be updated with new mattresses. The staff is friendly and the location of the hotel is only minutes from downtown Ithaca. Breakfast was good, the kitchen staff was amazing - thank you!

Ok for a quick stay

We needed a place to stay in Ithaca for two nights for a quasi vacation mixed with looking at colleges. This was a good alternative to pricier places downtown while still being close to the city. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was free and convenient. It was quiet and clean but obviously older. The room was comfortable but there were some small holes here and there, a ripped screen and hole in drapes. One window sheer was missing. I’d stay here again just because of the convenience. A little routine maintenance and coat of paint would help.

Two Queen room with pull out sofa. AC worked really well. Clean. Breakfast was really good. Cheesy eggs and bacon and Belgian waffles, sausage and gravy, fruit and pastries and breads and oatmeal. Coffee was decent. Friendly front desk.

Dont go here and waste your time or money

Paid extra for a suite and the room had no bodywash and bugs in the bathroom and ants everywhere. They said they have a pool but it is closed down. Rude staff. Wouldn't let us book an extra night. Parking lot was so bad it almost popped my front tire. Overall was a horrible experience and we want a full refund.
