The cottages are mediocre at best. Probably would have been better if description had full disclosure and a guest knew what to expect. No a/c, no tv, not all areas have covered patio/chairs (as pictures make you think) windows may or may not open. Room is VERY stuffy with a ticking ceiling fan to circulate stale air. Room smells like dirty hiking socks. The saving grace is convenient drive to Jenny Lake area and Yellowstone. Still not worth the $500/night price tag.

Top ratings for location. Amazing views of the lake and the mountains. Worth noting if you don't pay attention to the hotel amenities: There is no air conditioning or TV's in the cottages. It got pretty warm when we were there.

Fabulous historic property

We were part of a tour group who stayed here. We arrived a day early so we had an extra night. This is really a great, historic place. The views are stunning. Be aware it is “vintage”. No AC, no TV, and no WiFi. It was a little warm during the day (in July) but dropped into the 40’s at night so blankets required. We would stay here again.

Loved our stay at the Lodge. Disappointed the astronomer speaker canceled the talk on Tuesday night, july 29…..we never felt a single raindrop, the sky was mostly clear, and we stayed and saw a million stars. A lot of ppl were gathered and I’m not clear as to why the speaker wasn’t there. Even if he/she didn’t want to use the telescope, surely he/she had something to talk about to the crowd.

Just be aware that there is no AC or TV. Our cottage had a ceiling fan and an extra fan in the closet so sleeping was OK but I was a little warm. Better variety of food options than most hotels. The Grill is great for families. The front desk staff was fabulous!

Nice set up. I thought the Mural Room was okay to good but not great. The views from the restaurant and the upstairs open-place sitting area are incredible. The cottages were quiet and clean. Convenient to northern parts of the Grand Teton National Park. Getting to Jackson or Teton Village took a little longer than we might have hoped.

It was a nice. The main lodge has a nice view. Food is good, not mind blowing. Room was nice. I liked being able to pull my car up to it. No air conditioning. Overall a good stay. I would probably elect to stay in the town of Jackson when I return.
