To be up-front about the room and the motel: it was difficult to sleep and relax with my room (334) being so close to the highway. The traffic noise was pretty loud such that I had to wear noise-canceling headphones to deal with it. I would have appreciated some free shampoo, but there was none and the lady in the office said that she didn't have any and acted like it was unusual to have free shampoo at a motel. How much could shampoo cost extra? Also, the refrigerator worked but it seriously needed to be defrosted. The motel looked a little run-down and in need of maintenance. For example, the curtains in my room had holes/gashes in the light-blocking material. The vending machines all take cash-only ...most every vending machine these days also take credit cards and tap-to-pay. On Saturday morning, there was a guy blowing leaves in the parking lot and it was loud and smelly with blower exhaust. He actually was blowing leaves up and over the cars instead of around them. I had just washed my car and didn't appreciate him blowing leaves on it car (while I was in it!). One of the USB charging ports next to the bed was busted and the socket was dangling down. However, it still worked! I was pretty amazed when I was waiting in line in the office and one of the customers used profanity like he didn't care about offending anyone. I guess picking a motel by price in Jackson is not the best thing to do, but I expected higher standards.

I rented the room for 4days didn’t stay one night . When I first arrived there were two homeless guys standing on the stairway walked in the room the floors had not been mopped, the bed made was just thrown together and the room had a little old smell. They pretty much seem like something you would go do a one night stay if you know what I mean. The staff was very nice. I rate this room a two
