Rustic is an accurate description. The property was well located for us, had great views and was clean. The sauna worked great. The disappointing aspects were the funriture is very worn with patches on some chairs, slow wifi, old small tv's, the master bedroom tv is 14' and didn't work. The toilet paper, paper towels and soap that were provided were the least expensive you could buy. We went and bought our own. It's pretty easy to make your guests feel comfortable with just a little effort and investment in the baxic supplies a home should have. The silverware, glasses, pots, pans etc are all there just a mix and match of things over the years. There were no cookie sheets or pot holders. This is clearly a rental the owner does not want to invest money into. With a little updating and investment in the basics this could be a nice rental. We rented the home for 6 nights and when we requested a 2 hour late check out we were told NO. But we could pay for it. There was no one scheduled to come to the property for the next month. Simple things like that tell you how the owners view their guests. We've rented lots of units where the owners were thankful for our business and friendly. We go back to those homes. We won't lease this unit again or go to another Vacasa managed property.
