Easily my favorite hotel on the east side of Jacksonville an Orange Park beating out Hotels w/ a much higher price. The security there is very efficient w/ cameras and a guard who no matter where yu are yu will see every few minutes. My favorite rooms are the ones on the second floor facing the pool giving yu a great view when yu come out of your room or look through the windows. Feng shui of these rooms have a physical positive effect I wish I could imitate at home.
It’s a wonderful hotel and is most obvious when interacting w/ employees. When getting the attention of the pretty girl that makes breakfast yu walk up to a half door an say good morning into an empty room, not seeing anyone but yu hear good morning as she’s making everyone’s breakfast, I simply love an it adds to the charm somehow, not sure why but it does. The woman at the front desk is super sweet even when being overwhelmed. There’s something special about this place almost magical like a bright meadow in the center of a dark scary forest. For one thing it’s in an industrial area that’s known for being not the best. For example the Speedway across the street locks it’s doors at dusk a does the outside window thing. Can yu see the imagery of the dark forest, but this hotel has none of that vibe an infact I felt safe walking across the street a dealing w/ Speedways window shenanigans. There are nice restaurants ect. I lack words to explain how it all works makes AMP feels like an oasis, safe harbor
