Looking for a great get away in a cozy pool home – then we have just the place for you! Beautifully wooded ½ acre lot featuring a home that has the look & feel of an authentic English Cottage. Hand carved woodwork imported from England, in the kitchen, wet bar and living room. Fenced in backyard pool is a great place to relax & unwind and feel like you are a world away! This home features 3 Bedrooms, the owner's suite on the main level with a King Size Bed and two 2nd floor bedrooms with queen size beds as well as a Kids Bonus Room & TV/DVD with movies! The sunken living room is a cozy place to hang out for the evening, or head up to the loft above to read a book or put a puzzle together. There is also a separate desk area if you have to do a little work during your stay. Nice kitchen area and lots of counter space with window views to the pool area and located just off of the formal dining area that seats 8. Pet Friendly - pets less than 40 lbs - additional cleaning/pet hair removal fee required. (Max 2) Pets must be disclosed in advance. Fee is per pet. All dogs are to be treated with Advantage or similar topical flea and tick repellent three (3) days prior to arrival. Fleas and ticks are very rampant in this area and can cause harmful/fatal illness to humans and pets. All items above are the sole responsibility of the dog owner. Failure to disclose the pet in advance will result in a $500 fee.



*Charcoal for the grill is provided for an additional fee. The Charcoal Grill is stored under the Tiki Hut - needs to be pulled out for use.

Some amenities noted are nearby - an additional fee may be required. Golf, Boat Rental, Paddleboard Rental, etc.



**Parties are strictly prohibited - as noted in the rental agreement. Penalties will be enforced. The property is monitored by Noise Aware & Minut as noted in the booking agreement. There are also external surveillance cameras facing the front yard and driveway for your safety & security. There are no cameras anywhere else on the premises.

Names/Ages of all guests staying on property must be provided per the Vacation Rental Ordinance by the City of Orange Park. Please plan on sharing that information with your reservation. Max Occupancy is 8 persons at all times and will be enforced. Make/Model/License # of each vehicle parking on premises must also be provided. Parking must be off-street utilizing the garages and driveway. Max 4 cars per stay. There is also an exterior camera monitoring vehicles/parking for compliance.



Please adhere to all safety regulations as noted. Reminder: This is a pool, not a hot tub! :) The pool is 8 feet deep at the deepest point. There are Pool Rules posted. There is a pool safety ring available for emergencies.



There are outside lights that are on a timer to light the outside patio area. Please do not alter the timers.

There is an extra box fan in the closet if you need it for additional air flow. There are 2 separate AC units (1 downstairs and 1 upstairs) so the separate control panels are on each level.



There are also 3 bikes available so you can hit the great area bike trails or even bike up the street to the Baketique Gifts Tea House or OP Fish House & Oyster Bar – or one of the other area local shops.



Doctor's Lake Marina is about 2.5 miles away - bring your boat or rent one; go fishing and enjoy our waterways!



There are train tracks a short distance away with a train that passes generally 2x a day. It doesn't bother us at all - we are used to hearing them - but if you would like us to provide sound machines, just let us know and we can have them there for your stay. It has rarely been mentioned by guests but it was suggested that we make note of it.



There is a PADL rental location about 15 minutes away at Doctor's Lake - Rent directly from your Smart Phone and tour along the lake and Black Creek!

Great location in Southwest Jacksonville - convenient to Jacksonville, NAS Jax and area Golf Courses. Fully equipped kitchen includes service for 8, pots, pans, toaster, grill tools, coffee maker, blender, mixer.



Stairs: there are stairs and steps throughout this English Style Cottage House. Two sunken living areas (steps) as well as the 2nd floor (steps upstairs).



**Please note: The pool uses a sand filtration system. The bottom of the pool is a combination tans/browns/blues - so it will not appear crystal clear blue. The pool is serviced weekly by a professional pool mgmt company to maintain chemical balance and the filtration system. The yard is surrounded by more than a dozen trees of various sizes/types - there will be leaves around the area - and when season pollen counts are high - pollen will accumulate quickly. The pool system & waterfalls are scheduled on a timer to run the same time daily, but it is not heated. The indoor fireplace is not operational. The house is currently listed for sale but won't be available to close until mid October at the earliest. So wouldn't impact any new reservations made prior to that time.
