Non smoking means non smoking folks!

We booked a non smoking room and was rather surprised when we walked in and smelled cigarettes. I called the desk and the guy was very nice and offered to move us, but we would have to go to the 2nd floor. I am handicap and could not do it so we just stayed in that room. He offered air freshner which we declined due to my husband's allergies. Other than that it was ok.

It was ok

The hotel was clean but it was not updated on the furniture. The desk chair had rips the bathroom toilet paper holder was sticking out of the wall, only one end table for a king size bed, not very many pillows. Good location, but the hotel does need a lot of upgrading.

Comfortable stay

Staff was great! Very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean. The drawback would be maintaining/maintenance. It is an old hotel, and the wear and tear reflects it. The beds show their age as well as the pool. The pool in particular was very disappointing. The water was over treated, the pool ladders unsafe and the pool furniture falling apart. I would hope they get on top of these issues. If your looking for a clean affordable place, they nailed it.
