It’s old hotel but if they look after I am sure will much better appearances. What they need just cosmetic make over. I used to like stay here since I was young. They used to look so nice. Longtime ago every time I stayed there the bed beautifully covered with green pretty bed cover. Now just plain. The cover lots stains. Thoughts the bed and pillows still comfortable! The furnitures look old. The foods bit boring! But excellent friendly staffs! Also trustworthy and honest! I lost my gold earrings, the cleaners found it and she put on the wooden tray mini bar in the bedroom. Overall still comfy hotel just look so old. One more things! They need new coffee machines for breakfast restaurant !!!

A pleasant stay!

Had a wonderful stay at Mercure Jakarta Kota. I must say, the front office staff went out of their way to take care of my requirements and even ordered some IKEA products I wanted to carry back. Special thanks to Rika & Hafist Subchan for their excellent customer service. The staff across were nice and courteous and always helpful - house keeping, restaurant, room service, support staff and front office. The rooms were spacious and nice, and of course the breakfast buffet too! Was a pleasant stay and would love to come back again.

The room was outdated but nice. Really big and quiet. Breakfast buffet was good. The area is in the midst of what looks like a transformation. A lot of buildings are boarded up, and it looks like a subway is being dug on the main road. Explains the reasonable price for what really is a good hotel.

The property is centrally located and quite nice, rate is reasonable and excellent breakfast option. The bathroom needs updating and sprucing up a bit. Apart from that it is a super nice hotel to stay at. Amazing staff and very helpful.

You won't regret staying in Mercure.

Had our stay for more than 2 weeks there during my Jakarta trip meeting my family in town. We had great stay in Mercure. The service was excellent, all staffs are friendly. House keeping team did fantastic job helping in cleaning our room. Overall, it is recommended staying in Mercure and you won't regret it. Excellent !!

Standard hotel and location

Location is good for night tourism, but the hotel is quite old, can be seen from room furniture, sanitary, etc. Also they only have 1 access which regulated by odd-even traffic policy. Friendly staff, only they cannot give any late check-out. Stay in the non-smoking level but still can smell the cigarette smoke on corridor or other places.

Towels look worn out ... no hand and floor towel . The lining on the toilet walls stained ..yellowish The wifi sucks that I have to get roaming data in order to get internet connections. Only consolation is that the reception desk allowed us to keep room till 1 pm instead of 12pm
