Our first visit to Jamieson certainly won't be our last! We arrived at the cottage and were immediately struck by its charm, it’s cozy, beautifully furnished, and nestled on a quiet corner under a canopy of massive, fairy-tale trees. The home was spotless and incredibly well-equipped from the kitchen to the bathroom, and the hosts were wonderfully responsive.Our group (three humans and one very happy dog) loved the balance of adventure and stillness. We kicked things off with a 10km 4WD trail, but quickly traded our fishing rods for a spot by the river. We spent the rest of our stay in total 'slow-mo' mode, watching people float downstream while our dog had the time of her life chasing sticks in the shallows. In the evenings, we retreated to the deck to soak up the tranquil serenity of the area.Whether you're a nature lover or a coffee snob (and yes, the local coffee is excellent!), this place is a dream. We left feeling completely recharged. Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise, and to future guests, don't forget to bring something to float down the river on!

Location was everything, but we were let down by a number of issues with the cottage, which caused us nothing but frustration. It was tired inside and not clean enough and exterior was unkempt. There were a number of things we noted and have passed onto the host, things we didn’t expect for the money we paid for a 3 nights stay.
