Cozy property and we did ultimately get an upgrade on the room after fighting for it and clearly demonstrating on our own that an upgrade was available. We will likely go back.
We arrived and were very happy to get a room upgrade at no cost! We enjoyed every moment of our stay at Timber Cove. Coast Kitchen was excellent too. They know seafood.
The property grounds were spectacular!! Great hiking all around the hotel and nice ocean views. 5 star property with 4 star service. The restaurant service was a bit slow and confused. Overall, the staff was very friendly, but they just seemed a bit understaffed so they could not provide the service they would like to. I would recommend this hotel to my friends. Thank you for the nice stay. Also, the cove view would be 100% better if the bed was facing the ocean rather than facing the trees. It would be a simple fix to flip the bed and table to opposite ends of the room.
Hotel, restaurant and bar were AWESOME but the family room was really cramped.

Nice location but very overpriced.
The hotel is in an amazing location. It also has some positive features -- e.g. the games that are available inside and outside. However, it is totally overpriced for what it is. Especially the food and service quality (although people are friendly) are not quite what one would expect at this price point. The feeling one gets is that the place is not very professionally managed.
