Imagine long, hot summers tempered by sea breezes, strolling along a pristine beach, swimming in crystal clear waters, long leisurely alfresco dining and drifting off to sleep to the sound of the waves. Tradewinds is nestled amid the trees on the northern shores of Jervis Bay. Expansive views of the bay, beach, moorings and jetty are visible from most rooms of the house and from the extensive deck area. This is sure to entice you out to participate in the many pursuits Callala Bay has to offer.
Simply relax and watch others at play. If you are lucky you may be visited by the resident dolphins! The house is a pet friendly holiday home for one large family or two smaller families. The front yard is securely fenced for the safety of your small children or pets. For your dogs, a large trampoline bed is provided along with bowls for food and water. Please provide bedding for your dog.
Accommodation consists of one queen bedroom with an en suite, one double bedroom and a conjoined area consisting of two bedrooms with five single beds. There is also a cot with base sheet provided on request, please bring your own cot blankets. Three bathrooms cater easily for a full complement of guests.
There are ample living areas (inside and out) and a compact but well equipped kitchen, complete with microwave and dishwasher. A cozy gas fire is provided in the main living area for cold, chilly nights and heaters in the bedrooms. Air conditioning for the overly hot summer days. Fans are installed in all of the bedrooms.
For entertainment, there are two televisions, books, puzzles, and games for children and adults. For those who need internet access Wifi is available. Tradewinds will tempt you to return! Note that the garage is not available for use at this property.

Noise at Properties: NSW Planning has passed laws that affect guests. The Code of Conduct for holiday renting can be found on our website under the Guest Information tab. In Section 2.5.2 of the STR Code of Conduct, guests have an obligation to ensure the peace and comfort of neighbours and other occupants of the premises (if strata) near holiday rental properties. This means guests have to be very mindful of noise made in or outside the property that can disrupt neighbours at any time of the day. If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited.
Privacy: This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence and there are no shared rooms. Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy. Terms and Conditions: Detailed T&Cs apply for this property and payment warrants your agreement and that of all other guests staying at the property with you. Please share the T&Cs with your other guests.
Check-in and -out Times: During the busy months of December and January, the check-in time is 4 pm to facilitate peak back-to-back changeovers. Our standard check-in time is 3 pm and check-out time is 10 am. We offer a complimentary early check-in or late check-out time as a gesture of goodwill where booking and housekeeping schedules allow. Note that due to demand and housekeeping pressures, no early check-ins or late check-outs will be granted during the months of December and January. The safest way to secure an early check-in or later check-out is to book the property for an extra night. Contact us for a special rate for this extra night. All Sunday late check outs must be requested and approved prior to 5 pm on the Friday evening prior. All complimentary early check-ins or late check-outs must be confirmed in writing so that our housekeeping team are informed accordingly.
Guest Registration: Guest registration is mandatory for all bookings and replaces the need for a cash bond for short term bookings (up to 20 nights). It is essential for fraud prevention, damage claims, safety, and emergency purposes. The process varies depending on the online travel agent used. Direct bookings require the booker to upload a copy of their driver’s licence and credit card through our encrypted online process.
Additional Guests: The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties.
No Extras: This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.
EV Charging: For safety reasons and to comply with insurance requirements, guests are prohibited from charging electric vehicles at any property that does not have a dedicated EV charging station. Charging electric vehicles without proper infrastructure poses a fire hazard, and in the unfortunate event of an incident, insurance cover may be compromised, and the guest held liable. If in doubt, ask our team for the closest EV charging station.
Long Stay Discounts: Out of peak season stays of a week or more may qualify for a discount, please send us a message.

Security Deposit: For most bookings, completion of our registration process and a valid credit card with a $1000 available limit is sufficient for the security deposit. For medium-term bookings (21-40 nights) and long-term bookings (41-90 nights), a non-negotiable cash security deposit is required. This deposit, held in our Trust Account, is refunded after the departure inspection, with any damage or loss deducted. The minimum cash deposit is $2000, with higher amounts for larger or more expensive properties, or at the owner’s/agent’s discretion.
Peace of Mind: For your added security, this property is managed by a Licensed Real Estate Agent. We will never request payments be made to an overseas bank account and your money is held safely in our Trust Account until after your departure.

The quiet location and view let us have the relaxation we needed and a break from the hussle and bustle
Of the city life. Although the house was good & cosy I do think it’s time for a modern upgrade and declutter. There is lots of “stuff and ornaments’ around & less is more. For a big family I do think that the main dining table should really be a proper indoor table not an outdoor table and chairs.

Great location but a few issues
Location is very quiet with lovely views of the bay. Close to an IGA and bakery but not many other shops.
Well stocked kitchen and lots of board games avail.
Cleanliness was hit and miss. Mostly ok but one bathroom had mould and did not look like it had been cleaned at all for 6 months, garbage not cleaned out. This was rectified promptly by property manager but it never felt clean enough for us to use.
Light bulbs not all working and cupboard handles falling off were other maintnenance issues.

What a fantastic location, right in Calalla Bay. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable, which meant no last minute dashes to the shops to grab tea bags or batteries etc. looking forward to our next stay.

Stunning view, quiet and relaxing
The house was a bit more dated than anticipated but it was in an outstanding location with a beautiful view of Callala Bay. The beds were very comfortable, bathrooms very clean and the kitchen (though a bit small) was well equipped. We had a really enjoyable 4 days. If you had small children there was also a council or public playground with swings and a slippery dip about 100m away. The sound of the water lapping up on the shore as one wakes will be missed when we get home.

A comfortable and pleasant home. Comfortable and clean beds. Good washer and dryer. Pet friendly. Windows unfortunately hadn't been cleaned and the BBQ was dirty. Had to empty the full drip tray. Found the threat of $50 for cleaning a dirty BBQ not fitting. Would stay again.

Wonderful stay.So peaceful and relaxing.Close to amenities and being on the water was absolutely devine.Beds were comfortable and the place was stocked with everything you could need.The floor plan needs to updated showing it has a bath.Very important to some families or just mums wanting a soak.Super excited when we saw it.We will be back to this area and bringing our families.

We had a great time and enjoyed the water view except on the first night the light keeps on having power outage but thanks to the immediate action of the property management problem was solved and enjoyed the rest of our stay. We plan to comeback in the near future.

great location and well stocked.
We stayed with 8 people and had plenty of room for everyone. The house is well stocked with everything you need, crockery, cutlery, games and toys. The electrical equipment all worked(the things we used). The beds and furniture was comfortable. It took 30 seconds to be on the beach and the view over the bay was amazing. Quiet and peaceful. We had a great time and would stay again if travelling in the area.
