Max’s Mountain House was fully renovated in Oct 22’, and is located atop a picturesque hill in Jewett, NY, just 7 minutes to Windham Mountain and 10 minutes to Hunter Mountain. The home conveniently includes a Tesla EV charger, compatible with charging adapters and a hot tub that is professionally cleaned weekly. Designed for lounging and entertaining, the home includes several comfortable entertaining areas, perfect for enjoying the spectacular view and relaxing with friends and family. The house is ~2,300 sq ft with 3 cozy bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and a large kitchen & living area, perfect for unwinding after a day hiking, skiing, or exploring the nearby towns. The 2 large leather sofas frame the stone fireplace, and are the perfect spot to warm up and enjoy a cocktail après-ski or a game of cards (board games available). Located outside the living area is a brand new ~1,700 sq ft wood deck and gravel patio with fire pit & seating, and a hot tub for 7 that overlooks the beautiful hills and treetops.

The brand new kitchen is a chef’s dream with a large 7ft island and radiant heated floors (don’t stress if you forget your slippers). The kitchen includes brand new Samsung appliances including a 5-burner electric range, oven, dishwasher, and french door refrigerator with filtered water and ice maker. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessities for creating a casual dinner party fit for the stunning setting. If grilling is what you’re after, a new gas grill is located adjacent to the outdoor fire pit. The kitchen also includes a wood burning stove to make the space extra cozy. The bar has all the tools and glassware needed for the perfect cocktail. Bring your favorite bottle and enjoy a refreshment by the fire.

The kitchen comes stocked with a traditional coffee pot, Chimex, Keurig Coffee Maker, electric kettle and milk frother to make cappuccinos, lattes, tea, or hot toddies. Plates, flatware, and glassware for 16 are all new, along with serving platters and bowls.

The house sleeps 10 comfortably in 3 cozy bedrooms but also includes a sleeper sofa in the lower living area. The primary bedroom has a king bed and large private ensuite bathroom boasting two 18” rain shower heads, two hand sprayers and a traditional wall shower head, in addition to heated radiant floors and a heated towel rack. The main floor guest room includes 2 queen beds, deck access and private ensuite bathroom. The cozy downstairs bedroom with 2 queen beds enjoys a private living space with a sleeper sofa, electric fireplace, 50” Amazon TV, and Peloton bike. The lower floor is a walk-out basement with full ceiling height (9ft) and plenty of light. All 3.5 bathrooms were gut renovated October 2022.

There is fast 1G (800MB) wifi throughout the house and several smart speakers.

Security: There are 3 cameras outside the house for security purposes: One on the garage facing the street, one on the garage facing towards the house, and one within the smart doorbell next to the front door.
