Getting Around:
Getting around. You're 45 minutes south of Guadalajara International Airport, the main arrival point for most visitors. The drive is straightforward via Highway 37 toward Jocotepec—rental car services and shuttles can arrange pickups; many guests reserve a vehicle for flexibility exploring the lake and neighboring villages like Ajijic. Parking is secure on-site. The location sits perfectly positioned between Guadalajara's urban amenities and the lake's retreat pace, accessible but blissfully separate.
Other Things to Note:
Please take note of the following important information:
• No pets are allowed on the property.
• Number of guests: At all times, there must not be more people on the property than those registered in the reservation. Failure to comply will result in a fine.
The price of the reservation varies depending on the number of guests. While the property can accommodate up to 12 people, the cost is not the same for 1 guest as it is for 12. Please make sure to select the correct number of guests when checking availability or booking, as the system automatically adjusts the price based on the number of people entered.
• No smoking inside the house: If you choose to smoke outside, please close the doors and windows.
• Thermal water: The availability of thermal water depends on the supply provided by the local government. Most of the time, there is thermal water; however, it is subject to availability.
• Mountain location: We are located in a high mountain area, so depending on the weather, there may be insects. This is unavoidable. The house is fumigated inside and out, but insects, mainly mosquitoes, may still appear. To avoid issues, please keep the doors closed at all times, as there are seasonal insects.
• No drugs are allowed on the property.
• No parties: The community is peaceful, so loud music and noise are prohibited at all times. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 9 a.m.
• Check-in / Check-out: Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. onwards, and check-out must be done before 11:00 a.m.
• House rules: Please respect the space and community rules. Parties and events are not allowed.
• Parking: There is parking available on the property for up to 2 cars.
