🌵THE DRIVE: It’s about a 20 minute drive from Downtown Joshua Tree, with the last half being on a unpaved dirt road. (Expect a fun bumpy dirt road for the last 10 minutes) - It’s a 30 minute drive from the West Entrance to the JTNP
🌵 AMENITIES: We provide towels, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels & trash can liners. ✨THINK OF THESE ITEMS AS “STARTER KITS” - Highly recommend you bring additional items such as extra towels/blankets/pillows/soap/shampoo/coffee/salt/pepper/cooking spray/water bottles etc✨

Firstly, anyone booking this place should know that the drive up is very rough and unpaved. If you have a Jeep or AWD, you’ll be fine but, a sports car or anything with low suspension will struggle, so keep that in mind.Once you arrive, though, the property is exceptional. The location, the setup, and the communication with the host were all top‑tier. As a couple, this is probably our favorite stay in JT. The sunsets and stargazing are incredible, the home is fully equipped, the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. We had zero issues. The hot tub and fire pit were major bonuses. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it if you’re considering booking.

The property was so beautiful and peaceful. The outdoor bath had HOT water so it was actually nice to sit out in the wind and enjoy the sunset. Hosts were very communicative even when we had to let them know we left something behind and were going back for it they responded right away. On top of everything else the mattresses were all so comfortable to sleep on they had us wanting to buy the same ones for home.

The cutest rental out there! We loved every second at this location, especially the sunsets over the mountains and the stargazing. Very true to the pictures on the listing and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. Private enough to feel like a real desert getaway, but close enough to town and the park to be very convenient. We hope to be back soon.

Really great place.Very glad I booked it , my son and I stayed 3 night's. Property owner , very accommodating and probably has the quickest response time i've ever had with any questions. I would definitely come back here again. Very well maintained little place and very clean, also awesome place to bring your dog, just be weary of coyotes, we saw them in broad daylight right by house! It's worth the extra drive down the dirt road to be In such a beautiful quiet place. I am glad i borrowed my moms AWD Subaru. My honda accords lower profile would not of done well on the dirt road. There are lots of cool roads that we were able to explore right from the place. But definitely , you need all wheel drive at least.

Absolutely amazing stay! We enjoyed every aspect of this place. The bed was super comfortable and we both were very well rested. The hot tub was a great addition along with the fire pit. It’s a great place for couples and we were even able to get a lot of school work done during finals week. Highly recommend we can’t wait to stay again!

We stayed at this vrbo for my birthday weekend, and it was a great stay! Checking in was very easy. I loved the fire pit and hot tub, and it was even better stargazing than in Joshua Tree National Park! We highly recommend this place if you want some peace and quiet and STARS!The dirt road leading to the vrbo was relatively flat so we were able to make in a Honda Accord no problem, but driving it the first time was very stressful because we arrived at night. Overall, we don't recommend trying to drive it more than necessary, so plan accordingly. The hosts were very attentive (maybe a little bit too much, but better than not attentive enough). The only issues we had with the vrbo were 1) the toilet seemed to be leaking and refilling every 5 minutes so we had to shut the bathroom door to drown out the noise and 2) the remote for the tv didn't work unless you were sitting close to the end of the bed, which was a little annoying when trying to change the channel (but we loved that we could log in to our streaming accounts!)Overall, great stay! We would definitely stay again!

This is a great house in Joshua Tree. My boyfriend and I stayed here to do some hiking and stargazing. It’s location is close enough to town to enjoy the town and the national park, but far enough away that you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. The management communicated well. Definitely recommend.

quiet, peaceful getaway. The hot tub was amazing for me, but my husband was put off by the bees and dirt from the nearby tree. there was a neighboring house visible from the backyard, but I didn't see any people over there; and the hot tub and back of the house were very private because of the tree. We had a wonderful time!

We wanted a dark sky experience to see the stars and watch the meteor showers. This property was perfect. The photos are very accurate. What you see is what you get. The place is small, clean and relatively well stocked. Be sure to take supplies with you for food and drink. The bumpy, sandy, rocky road leading into the property is not something you want to do often and it is a fair distance from town. We cooked simple meals and enjoyed the marvelous outdoor space. We used the fire pit, the hot tub, the hammock swings, the horseshoe pit, and that glorious outdoor bathtub. We took a siesta inside and it was cool and delightful. We stayed two nights and spent both from sunset to well into the night outside watching that marvelous sky. If a place well off the beaten path in the middle of the desert is what you want this is the place. If we need another dark sky adventure we know where to go.
This is a great place for any couple's retreat, a student trying to work with no distractions, or simply a place to get away from the city nosies, and light pollution that comes with it, drive carefully on the dirt road to leads up to the property itself, and youll be fine. We will DEFINITELY book again

Amazing!
I booked this home as a Birthday Trip for my husband who loves all things space. The stargazing is what drew me to this property and my goodness, IT DELIVERED! We have never seen the sky so full of stars until this spot. I love that it was on the edge of the community and there was only two houses in view when in the backyard. The kids had fun on the bunk beds. The jacuzzi was clean and comfortable. The fire pit with chairs and swings/chair hammocks were amazing. Very well decorated. Overall, amazing experience.
