We believe in GOOD DESIGN. Juan Montoya famously said, "A room should never allow the eye to settle in one place. It should smile at you and create fantasy". We spared neither time nor expense in creating the interior spaces you will find at Bungalow 12. The warmth and beauty of our home will provide the backdrop for a vacation you will never forget.

We believe in IDEAL LOCATION. Bungalow 12 is located just across the street from Kaanapali Beach, one of Maui’s most beautiful stretches of sand and waves! Additionally, many of Maui's best eating and drinking locales, including Merrimans, Monkeypod, and Duke's Beach House, are located nearby.

We believe in COMFORTABLE BEDS. All of our beds feature brand new memory foam mattresses (with 4.5 stars on over 24,000 reviews) wrapped in 100% waterproof and hypoallergenic smooth fabric protectors. All beds feature over-sized alternative down pillows and super-soft microfiber sheets. Finally, we use lightweight quilts on our beds that are washed between each stay so you are never “sharing” your blanket with past guests.

**The third bedroom is a cozy sleeping loft with two full-sized mattresses. It's ideal for kids, but about 2 adults can sleep there too—just keep in mind the low ceiling for a fun, "camping-style" experience.

We believe in BEACH CRUISERS. Your Maui experience is complete with the use of our Beach Cruiser Bikes! Perfect for exploring the island's landscapes, scenic beaches, and charming local spots, these bikes are ready for your Maui adventures! Located on the lanai, they invite you to glide through Aloha-filled streets and soak in the beauty of paradise.

We believe in FAMILY FUN. Bungalow 12 is designed with families in mind. The third bedroom (super cool sleeping loft) comfortably sleeps 4 kiddos. Additionally, there is a twin size trundle bed tucked beneath the king size bed in the second bedroom in case you have a younger child who wants to sleep with mom and dad. And we provide all the beach supplies you could need, including chairs, umbrella, snorkel sets, and boogie boards. As this is a rental property, sometimes items may disappear over time. If you notice anything missing or in need of replacement, please let us know, and we'll do our best to address it promptly. If it's something essential for your stay, we're happy to reimburse you if you choose to purchase it during your trip. Your comfort and enjoyment are our priority!

We believe in CLEAN. Rest assured Bungalow 12 will be spotless clean and fully disinfected when you check-in. Our cleaning company is professional and thorough and it shows in our reviews. Between every group of guests, Bungalow 12 undergoes the following cleaning protocol:

Surface disinfection - Our cleaners pay extra attention to high-touch areas such as doorknobs, drawer pulls, the toilet flush lever, faucet handles, remote controls, and light switches.

Let cleaning solution stand - Our cleaners spray cleaning solution and wait several minutes before wiping a sprayed surface to give it time to disinfect.

Clean towels and linens - We wash all towels and linens in hot water before each check-in.

Cleaning supplies & toiletries - We provide an array of cleaning supplies along with disposable paper towels, hand soap, and yes plenty of toilet paper for the duration of your stay :)

Pickleball Fun Included!

We’re excited to offer a fantastic pickleball experience during your stay. Beach Bungalow provides 8 paddles and plenty of balls for your enjoyment. While there are no pickleball courts at the resort itself, you’ll find several nearby options.

Nearby Pickleball Courts:

Lahaina Civic Center: Located just an 8-10 minute drive south from our property, these courts are free to use and operate on a first come, first served basis.

Kapalua Tennis Garden: About an 8-10 minute drive north, these courts are available for a small fee, and you can make a reservation in advance to secure your spot.

NOTE:

- International Colony Club is a non-smoking resort, both within the unit and on the grounds.

- The ladder to the sleeping loft is steep and narrow. Please take caution and supervise young children!

-The third bedroom is a cozy sleeping loft with two full-sized mattresses. It's ideal for kids, but about 2 adults can sleep there too—just keep in mind the low ceiling for a fun, "camping-style" experience.

- No pets allowed.

- Quiet hours from 10PM until 8AM.

- Use of bikes is at your own risk. Please remember to lock them up—$300 for a lost or stolen bike and $75 for a lost lock/key.

- There are portable units in both primary bedrooms. There is no AC in the loft or living area, but with plenty of windows for ventilation AC is largely unnecessary. Many buildings on Maui have no AC at all!

- We highly encourage trip insurance as VRBO's cancellation policy does not provide refunds for medical, weather, disaster, or other unforeseen circumstances.
